This stuff gels really good, used to make cheese im definitely going to have to come up with a different recipe, I’m not to crazy about the one I have. Really good agent tho, no problems with it

Good product
I'm using this product to cook Indonesian meatballs soup. It works pretty well, it binds the flavor and slightly chewy consistency which I was looking for. It also works to make pudding and vegan cheese. Find out how much you have to use in a recipe because its very easy to overdo it, resulted in an inedible product.

For some reason it doesn’t work quite as well as the modernist pantry so I probably will get that one unless it’s out again. This works just not quite as well

Great for making vegan cheese.
Worked perfectly for making vegan mozzarella cheese. Was great cheese and I have never liked vegan cheese before so I was happy to find a enzyme replacement that works so good and yet meets the vegan criteria.

Vegan Cheese Makers
I have tried several recipes for vegan cheese and none of them got firm enough to slice or shred. My latest recipe suggested using carrageenan powder and I must say it worked so well I will be replacing agar agar with the carrageenan powder in all of my recipes.

I was able to successfully make my own vegan mozzarella cheese at home with the use of this Kappa Carrageenan! I chose this particular one over the others because it holds 4 oz which means I'll be able to make 4 batches.
