Wonderful compared to the cheap ol' gauze we usually get from the medical supply house. These feel like silky material, not wimpy in the least! Will probably add these to our Office monthly Amazon subscription. Did I mention they're REALLY NICE? Try one stack and see what you think.

If you have things made of plastics going into or coming out of your body, clean gauze sponges are the paper towels of maintaining them. Sterile gauze usually isn't necessary except under special circumstances, ask your caregiver if you aren't sure. These are of good quality, were packed well, and arrived clean and dry. Can't ask for much more.

We go through a lot of gauze. Most gauze whether in single packages or multi packages tend to be very rough on the skin this gauze is very soft and a tighter weave which makes it very comfortable for tender areas. It is non-abrasive.

could not find large pack of 4 x 4 gauze in local stores good price and quality product, I use them in a pan of soapy water to clean and rinse my husbands Stoma site

Our hospital uses this gauze, and it has really agreed with our little one. Soft and absorbent.

What I needed is a pad that is soft and will absorb moisture away from the skin. It is used after showers to help keep the skin from getting sores where skin folds contact each other. This product has the right sizing but was not good at keeping moisture away from the skin. They are changed daily and used with powder. The material was not soft enough to prevent shaffing of the skin and were not extra absorbent. Thankyou for the opportunity to respond. Store bought products were much more absorbent in wicking away mositure and much softer.

These are not the usual "woven" gauze, but are of a thicker weave (but thin gauze) and will hold and absorb liquid better than the "normal loose weave" gauze. When used as a dressing pad under bandages, they work as well as a standard bandage pad. They can be folded or laid flat, whatever works for different uses.

They're great, except they are Non Woven, didn't want the non-woven. My mistake, didn't see the non-woven till I received the packages
