I use this as part of the Foundations of Emergency Medicine curriculum. Excellent text!

Good book

This volume is packed with clinically relevant evidence based critical care guidance for practitioners and those in training. It is easily readable and presents information in a problem/solution format. This book is a fabulous reference and go to for guidance on the diagnosis and treatment of all scenarios an experienced clinician, fellow, or resident may be confronted with in the ICU. I highly recommend this book to any of the aforementioned persons and that a copy be placed in the ICU for expedient access. It’s written by the “whose who” of critical care medicine densely of high yield content also make an excellent value.
