Great higher end Puerh
Overall, this is a higher-quality, full-bodied ripe puerh tea with a nice hint of citrus and mushroom. Puerhs commonly have a strong earthy flavor. In comparison to other ripe puerhs in general, and those I've tried from Jinglong Tea Factory, this particular tea does not have as dominant of an earthy flavor as do other ripe puerhs (unless it is steeped for a long time). Instead, it has a really well-balanced taste that is also likely to appeal to drinkers of black teas who might not normally like puerhs. If you drink puerh tea every day, be aware that this is a mini-cake which would probably last about two weeks or less. This size is great for an occasional special cup or for a gift. Jinglong's website includes explanations for their teas and suggestions for brewing. You will need a knife to break off the tea from the cake. I find that this cake breaks up fairly easily after the first incision. Ripe puerhs should be rinsed with boiling water before steeping. I prefer a 2.5 to 3 minute steep on this tea (using a teapot with infuser). A sign of a higher quality tea, it is good for at least three infusions (many ripe puerhs only make water after the second).

Good, earthy tea
I had another Pu-Erh from a local shop that has become my favorite drink. It tastes like sweet tobacco. This one tastes more like leather to me, and while it's not the flavor I was hoping for, it's still very good.

Horrible.!!!!
Horrible flavor, so spensive for only one nest, I don't underestand the positive reviews about it.

Mellow Pu-erh, Mildy Earthy
Xinjiaren is a delightful tea. The difference between this tea and Jinglong's mini toucha pu-erh is like the difference between an English breakfast tea and and Irish breakfast tea. This tea is earthy, but not intensely so. The Xinjiaren tuocha tea would be a great gateway tea into pu-erh teas or for those tea drinkers wishing a milder pu-erh experience. If one is more of a black tea lover, but wants the health benefits of pu-erh tea, this is a great pick. As a pu-erh newbie, I'm just developing a palete for this variety of tea. Although I now prefer a stronger pu-erh tea, I'd buy Xinjiaren again or give it as a gift. Opening the tuocha is like unwrapping a present, and it's fun to whittle down the compressed tuocha to get leaves for steeping.

Delicious!
Nine months ago I tried Puerh tea just to see if it would lower my cholesterol, and it lowered my total cholesterol substantially. But I fell for the delicious taste of Puerh tea and will continue to drink it. I have found that Puerh tea sold by Asiatea is the best. Every cup perfect. The Xinjiaren tea is no exception. I like to brew it a little longer, 4-5 minutes, but that's just me. I highly recommend trying this one, or any of the other Puerh teas offered by Asiatea. Not only is it delicious, it is packaged lovely enough to give as a gift. You won't go wrong.

Real good for people who likes tea
I love this tea so much that I bought it again and again. It has a certain smell that only good tea has. Drinking it with dessert and straight is both great experience. I really hope that more people would try this tea.
