Modern Man Influence was born with the goal of keeping everybody looking fashionable and in style. We want you to look your best in everything you do. Shoes tell a lot about a person and you have the ability to really make a statement with your choice of shoes. At Modern Man Influence we created our Premium Leather Shoe Polish Cleaning & Care Kit to ensure everyone has everything in one box to keep your shoes in tip top shape. We thought about everything when we put this kit together so lets walk you through the process. You will first notice we provided you a solid wood storage box. We want you to have something bespoke to keep all your shoe tools in. Next we want to make sure you keep your hands clean, shoe polish can get everywhere so before you begin we included two cloth gloves. Next you will see 3 colors of Modern Man Influence wax shoe polish, Neutral, Black, & Brown. Our wax shoe polish is made in the USA and is premium quality to match the quality of your shoes. Next, to apply the polish to your shoes we included 2 horse hair brush applicators. Why is Horse Hair the best? The bristles are soft so they won't scratch the leather. Just rub the applicator brush onto the polish and then rub into the shoe leather. Next you will notice we wanted to include polishing brushes of the same top quality, we matched the applicators and included Horse Hair brushes and not just one, we included two. One for black and the second for brown and neutral . After you have completed the polishing you will see a buffing pad that puts the icing on the cake and the final shine in your shoes. Lastly slide your shoes on with our heavy duty stainless steel shoe horn. Using a shoe horn when putting your shoes on keeps the heel in shape. Now you have the Modern Man Influence Leather shoe kit you are ready to keep all your shoes in mint condition and have the best #ShoeGame in town! Tag Modern Man Influence and hashtag #Shoegame when sharing your pictures of your polished shoes.

Made an old shoe happy; taught me how to fight.
I was skeptical of this magic box at first. It came precisely wrapped in two cardboard boxes, like a rough matryoshka doll. Each layer more magically wrapped than the next. When I got to the warmly stained wood and opened it up, I was surprised by the brushes and gloves, shoehorns and polishes; oh my! Having dress shoes from decades past in my closet uncared for and forgotten, I knew just what I’d try...a pair of brown leather shoes I hadn’t worn in years, scraped and dull from age. I pulled them out from the back of my closet and gazed upon them with dread. They looked as if they’d been left in mud and grass for more time than necessary. I rummaged around my rag bin until I found a soft T-shirt scrap. Wet the thing and wiped off every inch of dirt. They were a pitiful sight, even when cleaned. Like some aged sun worshiper who smokes 2 packs a day. These poor prunes didn’t seem want to ever come alive. I stuffed the shoe trees into the shoes and the wrinkles stretched out ever so slightly. I reminded me of a time when I was a child; stretching my grandmother’s wrinkled skin to see a smooth surface once more. How many years had passed between such loss of youth and strength? The small brushes made applying the brown polish easy. “Apply sparingly” the instructions called out. I followed directions and covered the shoes until they were a mahogany brown once more. Mr. Miyagi called forth in my brain: “Wax on, wax off”; I applied an even coat and practiced blocking punches with my tired fingers. It was fun. I eschewed the white glove treatment, for I’m not a butler, bad plan though. My fingers were stained as dark as the shoes afterwards. Nothing a couple handwashings will take care of. I’ll wear them next go round. Old shoes once more had some life, but I was not completely finished yet. I let them sit for two hours, not the recommended 24 hours. Perhaps next time I’ll listen, but that day I was in a hurry. The large brush is soft and fits well in the hand. I vigorously removed the polish until the finish was smooth and consistently brown, not spotted. Oh, but I wasn’t finished yet. The buffing cloth made the old shoes shine like a mirror. I was quite impressed. The wrinkles still show but they are shiny, like someone who has just had Botox. Not bad Modern Man. Not bad at all.

Decent, but a little cringe
I feel as though I mostly paid for the wooden box and some brushes. It's not bad for what it is, but it caters to the kind of person who idolizes handlebar mustaches and Ron Swanson (who would have a plain lacquered box and definitely not wear gloves while shining his shoes, incidentally).Still I guess it's not a bad value. The shoe tree is cheap, but it fills a shoe up to 12.5 or 13. I haven't used the waxes but expect them to be on par with Kiwi. Some flannel strips and leather conditioner would have been nice, and different colored stains on the brushes so as to differentiate them. The box doest have room for all my stuff, but I also have a lot of stuff.

Good quality
The inserts for the shoes felt very cheap and flimsy but overall everything else was excellent the box was a high-quality wood and all of the polishes as well as other accessories were top notch

NON-Returnable item and had multiple issues!
I was disappointed when I opened the box as the shoe polish cans were opened and got all over the place creating a mess. So they need to work on packing. Also the brushes shed a lot and shoe trees keeps coming apart indicating low quality. The only thing I liked out of the kit was the storage box. Please be advised this item is NOT returnable I wish I would of known that.
