Koma Unwind Relaxation Drink Regular (20 pack) 12 Oz

Ok, so I have been diagnosed for some years now with PTSD from my 3 years in Iraq and Afghanistan. I sustained 2 traumatic brain injuries stemming from a total of 6 IED blasts to my Bradley Fighting Vehicle. As a result I was diagnosed with ADD in the years after. I had trouble sleeping, which resulted in irritability and inability to focus and in came the 40mg Vyvanse. This will keep you up a minimum 13 hours and sometimes longer, thus adding to the vicious cycle. I heard of Koma Unwind through a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. No stores carried it in my area so I hopped on Amazon and ordered it and boom it was here in 4 days counting the day I placed the order. I drank one about 10 pm which is about 3-4 hours before I normally go to sleep and within 25 minutes I was desperately trying to keep my eyes open to finish the episode of Boardwalk Empire I had missed. At about 10:45pm I just shut the tv off and passed out on the couch. I woke up at my usual time of 6:30am with my 11 month old son fully refreshed. Not fully convinced I drank another one 3 days later after I had taken my 40mg Vyvanse to get me through the normal day and a 5 hour energy drink to take me into overtime to finish a Biology research project that was due. I took this at 11:20pm fully awake and ready for a few more hours of watching Sports Center loop over and over but again about 25 minutes later I was yawning a rubbing my eyes and fully asleep probably soon after. This Koma Unwind stuff tastes like Welch's Grape Soda and is best if served very cold. I stated earlier that I have PTSD and am always on edge so I don't like taking ambiens or dyphenhydramine (benedryl) to help me sleep because I want to be able to get up quickly should the worst happen while I am asleep. I had no hangover and was able to get a solid nights sleep, the best I've had in months and maybe years. I'm going to go to some local stores to ask if they can stat carrying it, ordering and waiting for it could get old.

This is my first review, because this is the first thing I have ever ordered from Amazon. Do not read this as a misleading review because I do not have any more reviews. Koma Unwind is hard to get where I live (Virginia Beach). I have to go through Amazon to order it.I drink a lot of coffee throughout the day. I drink it before & after lunch [This is the breaks of being awake for 18+ hours a day]. Sometimes I have my last sips of coffee after 5 p.m. Guess what that means? I have a lot of energy when its bed time. I sometimes lay there at night unable to fall sleep. I tried drinking wine before bed, drinking Sleepy Time tea, & even reducing the amount of coffee I drink in the latter part of the day. Nothing has made a substantial difference until I drank one of these. I felt so at ease that I even went to bed earlier than normal. It's not that it knocked me out. It just gave me a calming effect that slowed me down. It was the perfect elixsor for my nightly conundrum. I now drink one can every night (monday-thursday)because of how easy it is to fall asleep after.I also want to say that the taste is very good. Even if it didn't provide me with an ability of instant relaxation, I would still drink it for the taste. I hope this review helps. Its a great product & it won't be before long that you'd be able to by this in your local stores.

First and foremost, consistent five star reviews for a product like this is a HUGE red flag. Look at how similar the wording is in describing the effects of this product.I picked this stuff up at my local Walgreens this week. It tastes a lot like grape Bubble Tape (chewing gum) and is slightly carbonated. Does nothing for relaxation, and isn't as refreshing as a normal soda, but has the same calories. Total gimmick.

The taste was ok but not great. I was surprised how fast I felt relaxed and sleepy. I normally don't have trouble falling asleep but if I did, I would definitely use this product to help me to sleep. I don't think I would use it if I just wanted to relax but also stay awake though since after drinking all I wanted to do was go to sleep.

Good stuff, like the idea of a relaxation drink instead of an energy drink. It does chill you out, I as surprised when I tried it

This product is a very nice drink. Refreshingly tasty, not too much carbonation, not too sweet, just right, and a drink for any time of the day, not just for bedtime. I usually wait until after work to drink a few of them, but on the weekends and my days off, especially during the hot days, a nice tall glass of Koma Unwind and ice is all I need. I usually top it off with a little cranberry juice and that is a fabulous combination (makes the can last a little longer too). Relaxing effect, certainly refreshing, and I can get a nap anytime I want. I also have gotten the best nites sleep drinking this product before I retire for the evening. The shots are wonderful too, and better tasting and better effects than all the other's out there. I have tried them all too. Take my word for it, buy a 6 pak, a minimal expense, and try it for yourself, you won't be sorry. What you will be is satisfied and you probably will order more. The Relax 5 shots are also a hit. Only wish you could get it in a 12 once can like the KOMA. Lastly, I would like to say this....If you drink alcohol just to relax so you can sleep, drink no more, this is your alternative drink and solution. As long as I have KOMA, I don't touch alcohol and I am much better off with it. So, LOSE THE BOOZE AND RELAX NATURALLY, DRINK A KOMA UNWIND! And thats all I have to say.

I have been drinking Koma Unwind - The ULTIMATE drink - for over a couple months now..and it is the bestway to relax at the end of a day and really get a good night sleep. Koma Unwind has an Awesome taste and reallyis the Best Chillaxation / Relaxation drink out on the market. I have been ordering direct from the company at [...] and also from Amazon online. I can't wait until the product expands to Maryland and beyond so I can pick it up anywhere I go. Try it, I think you will like it :)
