Excellent quality!!! This is a perfect travel size. There are a plethora of uses for activated charcoal. It is great to help detoxify because it is adsorptive in nature. A paper towel absorbs water, but charcoal draws the toxins to itself and locks them in its many crevices, as it is quite porous. It then carries them out of the body when taken internally. I stir a low-rounded teaspoon in a glass of water and drink it. It is especially useful when I am on a cleanse. Poultices can be made using half charcoal powder and half ground flaxseed (other mediums do nicely, as well) and adding enough water to make a paste. Once the paste is made I put it between gauze or paper towels and apply and cover with plastic. Medical tape is useful to keep it in place. A friend had an infected tooth and rolled the paste into a little gauze and placed it between her cheek and gum. The infection was gone in 2 applications. Poultices need to be changed pretty frequently at first, but after the first 2 or 3 applications, depending on the severity of the injury, they can be left on longer - like overnight. A little of the paste on a bandaid and applied to a bug bite can make the process a fairly short one and many claim they get no ill effect from the bug bite at all if applied soon enough. It is an absolute must for places where there are no doctors.

If you have just one natural emergency ingredient in your home, let it be activated charcoal. The stuff is amazing for detoxifying your skin and also when you have eaten something your stomach fights you on. I actually had to use it when my dog got into the garbage and feasted on Christmas ham (fat) and clam sauce and spaghetti. A day later, it was coming out of both ends, he wasn't eating or drinking. I called the vet and knowing there were no bones involved, she told me to give one capsule (I made on myself) and call her in the morning. I did and within a few hours, he was back up and around, drinking water and chasing the air again. By morning, I had made some plain chicken and rice and started feeding him a 2 tablespoons a few times a day. Day two after the charcoal. he was back to his rambunctious self.I've taken it for horrible acid re flux and it works like a charm and very quickly. It's my miracle ingredient, wouldn't be without it.

I originally bought this as an at home teeth whitener. It may seem intimidating to put black stuff on your teeth to whiten them, but I promise, it works! I'm a big coffee and tea drinker, so I had some slight yellowing. I used this about 5-6 times and the stains have gone away. And there isn't the sensitivity like when use the white-strips and other whiteners. I would recommend that you mix a little in a spoon with water, and then swish around in your mouth ( be careful not to inhale the powder before it becomes completely wet) for 10 mins or so. Save yourself having to clean the sink & spit it in the garbage. Brush your teeth and you should notice a difference. Repeat often!Also, if you have a sour stomach from eating something bad, or from too much alcohol, drink a cup of water mixed with a tablespoon of this charcoal; it will absorb any toxins, and will make you feel better. Activated charcoal is actually used in poison control centers for this reason.

This stuff is amazing! I have found so many uses for this! & a little bit goes a LONG way!! I've had this for over a month, when I got it the bag wouldn't seal all the way, I imagine it's from charcoal being stuck in the seam, so I had my husband try to do it & he spilled a bunch of it all over the place!! haha, even with that happening, I still have 3/4 of product left in the bag! I use this almost daily for my teeth, face, in my homemade face wash. I have found so many uses for this & LOVE the results of all of them!! The ONLY complaint is the bag it comes in, isn't fantastic for continued storage, so I just put it in a larger ziplock bag, so we don't have anymore spills!

Activated charcoal has a lot of great benefits & this product does not disappoint. I use it in smoothies, as part of a face mask (with coconut oil) & as part of an all natural toothpaste (along with coconut oil as well) and it is great for all three applications (especially the toothpaste, it truly does whiten teeth in a few days). Would definitely recommend activated charcoal in general & this particular product is great. Delivery was also quick, great seller.

Well, my original intent was for teeth whitening, but I know that my stains come from antibiotics as a child. My teeth are sensitive, so I can't get them bleached, but this didn't work either. It did remove some slight surface stain, but not enough for what I was hoping for. I will use it for other purposes, but so far it's been sitting in the cabinet. The packaging, quality, & timely shipping of the product is great!

Although I haven't had a chance to use the product for the intended use to whiten my teeth, I did however open the package & its appears to be exactly as described. The package is a niceresealable bag.Will update review once I use it for teeth whitening & leave my feedback

My hubby & I really didn't think this was going to work (we're coffee drinkers) -but it did!! Our teeth are shades whiter than before. I just hated the black mess it makes. So we have individual containers. We used it everyday, twice a day for two weeks. Now we use it Once a week. We also do oil pulling several days a week - just to help keep our teeth white because we still drink coffee. Also liked that the delivery was fast.
