I had to leave a negative review on a different product from this company because the advertised dimensions were way off. This is my 4th attempt to find a leather bag which actually fits a 15 or 15.6" standard laptop and power supply (as opposed to a super thin notebook or tablet). This one just meets muster in that department. You won't be able to fit anything larger than a 15.6" low profile laptop into the main pocket - unless you remove the padding - BUT you can also fit two more in the other compartments!As for the briefcase itself - pictures on Amazon don't do this bag any justice - it exudes quality. I like to tell myself I'm not materialistic...function over form and all that. But look at me now - I'm blushing like a school girl in the mere presence of this object. I'm almost embarrassed to take it out in public or to the airport - I might be accused of showing off. It looks, smells and feels obnoxiously expensive even while it's incredibly understated and by no means flashy. We're talking heirloom level quality here. Investment grade. I will pass this bag down to my first born. This is the kind of quality you just don't see much of anymore. It just begs to be touched and smelling the leather is an emotional experience - it is the essence, the leather that craftsmen dream of at night.Unlike some of the others I've tried, including a very expensive Polo leather messenger bag, every surface and flap in this thing is made of the same thick, beautiful leather. With the other bags, the appearance is of 100% leather construction, but they cut corners and all the interior flaps and partitions - including 'structural' pieces, are fabric. The leather stops right where you can no longer see it. Not here. This is what you think of if you're told to imagine a timeless leather briefcase.This is the new archetype for a briefcase in my opinion. Cannot imagine anyone buying this bag and not being 110% satisfied. Highly recommend the "honey" color as well, as it strikes the perfect balance between natural and refined.

I bought this as a replacement for a similar three compartment bag purchased in 2009. The current version has smaller, less robust, clasps and handle. Also, the zipper on the back is really ornamental because there’s not enough space between the leather and the backing to put anything thicker than a small envelope within the pocket. That said, it’s better than most bags.

I usually do not write reviews, but I am motivated to do this because of the quality and the details on this Briefcase. The case defines the man with class. The leather is of excellent quality. It is a bit wider than the briefcases I have (having more compartments), but it serves me right. Though I received it a few days ago, I have started receiving compliments on the Briefcase. I recommend this Briefcase to anyone desiring class and high quality.

Bag has help up great through the last 18 months. Wears great and would highly recommend this bag to anyone needing the storage for misc items during the course of a business trip.
