Great thermos! Every surface that the food comes in contact with in this thermos is stainless steel or food grade silicone (the gasket in the lid). We looked for a while trying to find a thermos that didn't allow hot contents to come in contact with plastic. The thermos does it's job and keeps pasta warm until lunch. Cleanup is very easy due to the stainless steel. Customer support was great. Our first thermos had an issue with the lid fitting correct, but the seller sent out a replacement quickly! The thermos can be a little difficult for our 5 year old to open, but that is typically because someone really tightens the lid. Overall we are very happy with this purchase and will buy another one when our second child starts school.

These thermoses are great! I ordered three for my kids for school and have no problems with leakage. I rinse them with hot water and dry them quickly before adding the hot food and my kids report that their food is still nice and hot by the time they have lunch, often 5 - 6 hours after I've prepared it. I've just ordered two more for my husband and I for road trips.

I'm updating my review, after my thermos "magically" started being leak proof, even with tomato soup. Works like a charm for keeping liquids and solids spillproof and hot. I must have done something wrong the first few times I used it! I was looking for a thermos made without plastic, or at least with no plastic coming into contact with food. This fits the bill, and fits perfectly in my son's LL Bean lunchbox alongside his stainless less Bento Box for holding the rest of his lunch.

Our daughter has begged for hot lunch all year, but we prefer to meal prep and save money by making her lunches every day. Getting these (also ordered a yellow one) has been the perfect compromise. I just heat up whatever leftovers she wants before she goes to school and put them in here. She usually eats lunch 4-5 hours after I initially warm up the food, and it's always still hot for her at school. Definitely plan to buy more. her only complaint was the color ;)

The thermos itself is really nice looking and seems to be made of good material. When I tried to open the lid it was very hard to turn. Once I got it off I realized that the rubber ring in the lid that makes the seal got all twisted. I tired it a couple more times and it kept moving and twisting. There was no way this would work for my 6 & 4 yo girls. I also figured after constant turning the rubber ring will eventually snap and you would not longer have a seal.

Got this for my kid's school lunch & works really well keeping food hot. I haven't used for cold but imagine works just as well. I do not put this in the dishwasher. I didn't read if you could, but I don't take a chance. It's easy to wash by hand & doesn't leave a stain like the old Thermos ones did. I recommend it.

We love this thermos. It holds up to my 6 year old when dropped. The food is prepared at 5am and still warm at noon time. Cleaning is so easy, nothing sticks. The cover is no problem for little hands to open. Decent price also.

This is my second purchase of this same item - my kids love having a hot lunch and these keep their food warm until school lunchtime. I pour hot water in them when I am preparing their lunch to warm the thermos then dump the water and input the hot food - voila! hot homemade lunch at school. & dishwasher safe - hooray!

Great size for kids lunchbox. Retains heat well. The lid can be tricky to open though

Love it, so hand, perfect for a bowl of rice for child's lunch. Can make pasta n soup also. Good size portion. Easy to use n clean :)

Picture quite deceiving, this is a mini flask.Cant even hold a whole can of soup

Does not keep food warm at all, not even Luke warm. Very disappointing. I would not recommend.
