Goetland Stainless Steel WWII US Military Canteen Kit 1QT with 0.5QT Cup Nylon Cover G.I.

Fairly sure stainless steel is magnetic. Neither the bottle or the cup attract a magnet. They both look and feel like aluminium, which has left me very disappointed as this was supposed to be an upgrade to the aluminium set I already have and wanted to upgrade from. And it's not as described or sold.

Its very well made i remember my plastic TA issued one and this is far better. Easy to attach to a belt or bag and very hardy. Remember that in bushcraft or on your travels plastic simply doesnt do the job especially if you're wanting to brew tea, coffee or food straight off your campfire. This features a perfect mug with a collapsable handle and all is made of high quality stainless steel. The bag attatchment is awesome as it will help the bottle last longer and help keep it clean. My favourite part, other than how bushcraft proffessional it looks, is the sturdy lid chain which means you wont ever lose the lid whilst hiking etc. This is hands down quality for money as this style lasts for decades, that tends to be what military gear is crafted for. Brilliant piece of gear and a lot of uses. Thankyou very much sellers it came within days and is brand new. Love this

Would be better if the screw top was metal not plastic and the chain attachment was stronger.

Top quality kit. Very solidly made and excellent standard of finish. The bottle is clean and the cap gives a water-tight seal. The mug is solid but boil time on a hexamine stove was still quick and both outside and in cleaned easily after use. the pouch seems well made and holds the bottle and mug with enough room over for some filter cones and purification tabs. Good value for the price.

Really happy with this water container and bought a second one. What was received is as shown in the photos. Someone commented that it’s not stainless steel because it’s not magnetic, however, I did a little research to discover that not all steel is magnetic. Stainless steel is embossed on the bottom of the bottle as seen in the photos

Bigger than I expected (I'm british so don't have a strong mental picture of how big a 'quart' is).Feels sturdy, doesn't leak. Loses a star for the bag being a bit... Baggy.It doesn't seem poorly constructed, just a bit too big for the canteen and has a weird way of opening and closing.Will replace. Mostly because it isn't black and I like me some goth.Overall, though, a nice canteen.

Solid product. Stainless steel rather than cheap aluminium. So far doing a great job and the cup has been used for cooking on the go. Make sure you clean and degrease it fully before use as there is a protective grease layer inside. Only worry is that the lid might crack over time and I'm not sure where to get a replacement.Let's get this out onto a tray. Nice

Stainless can't go wrong, light and tough, better ones out there but for the money it's worth it, I teach bushcraft and use it daily it's a good one.

Just received, first time unfolding the cup handle, the tacks broke. Glad it happened at home rather than while camping...

Die Flasche ist gut nur war noch Polierpaste oder Rückstände davon am Gewinde und in der Flasche. Da musste ich erstmal schubben bis ich das wirklich einigermaßen weg hatte. Ich nutze die Flasche für Wasser, welches ich auf Arbeit mitnehme. Da brauche ich die Tasche nicht bzw. nervt sie etwas aber ich bilde mir ein, daß daß Wasser etwas kühler bleibt wenn die Tasche noch drum ist. Machst ja auch irgendwie Sinn.

Die Flasche lässt sich leicht reinigen, macht einen robusten Eindruck und ist nicht allzu schwer. Der integrierte Becher fasst genug Wasser um zwei Tassen zu befüllen und lässt sich aufgrund der Nierenform gut am Feuer positionieren. Die Isolationsleistung dieser Flasche ist ebenfalls überzeugend.

Bin voll zufrieden, sowohl mit der Flasche als auch mit dem Becher.Alles ist dicht und macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Und die Klappgriffe am Becher sitzen mit einer angenehmen Festigkeit und wackeln nicht, auch wenn man die voll gefüllte Flasche reinstellt.Nach einem kleinen Riss an der Tasche, hat der Verkäufer schon nach wenigen Stunden auf meine Email reagiert und eine Woche später war ein komplettes neues Produkt samt unbeschädigter Tasche da.

Holds a lot of water, I’ve seen a lot of reviews saying the handle falls of but I have had zero problems, although the product does retain smell if non-water liquids are used. The belt loop is a bit awkward, and I have no idea what the metal price on the exterior of the green holster is used for.

Wish the lid was steel, other than that its perfect for bushcrafy rather than spending the extra $25 on other brands, i think it was late in the mail though but no big deal, it was during the holidays.

Seems like fairly good quality for something made in China ye I know right!

this product is just what you need for hiking for overnight adventures. included cup is great for heating water on the fire.canteen and cup is quality stainless steel.

It works really well, however there was some rust on the outside of the canteen when left wet and overnight. I am wondering how safe it is to drink from this!!!

Nice replica. The material used for canteen holder is of great quality. Will definitely be used for long walks in the Wood's.

After returning the first damaged canteen the company contacted and sent a new one free of charge. All appears to be good. Thanks again goetland

Great product. No bad taste from the canteen like some of the other reviews claim. Cover melted with hot water in canteen.

I did not realize that it’s small. It’s like for kids size. It looks very much “ made in china” product.

Une excellente gourde , et en inox .Je ne veux plus d'aluminium, et cette gourde est vraiment parfaite , avec son quart.La housse à l'air costaud, à voir dans le temps.Il faut juste faire attention de ne pas perdre le joint du bouchon .
