Dirty Laundry by Chinese Laundry Women's Ratatat Lace-Up Boot

Great shoes got compliments every time I wear it and goes well with my hand knitted sock that is the real reason I buy it, the only comment is you foot sweat because it is plastic and you can see it but if you wear a good sock it won't make your foot smell...

I got these rainboots to have something fun to wear in the rain and show off some cute socks. Though the fit seemed right at first (for a 7 1/2), and my inserts for flat feet fit in, my feet slide around slightly as I walk. I think this is partly due to the shoe material being very smooth, so there's no friction to stop your foot from sliding around. This causes the stiff rubber front to bump and chafe against my toes, and I can't walk any distance in them without my toes hurting. It's so bad, even with thick socks, that I'm going to give them away. Maybe people with other foot shapes have a better time with them. They certainly look cute: the gray plastic is nicer than having entirely clear sides because it covers up mist from your foot sweat condensing on the inside.

These boots *look* great, but the fit is pretty weird. They are not comfortable at all. I normally wear a 9.5. I ordered these in a 10, and my toe goes all the way to the end, so length-wise, they run normal, or perhaps a little small. However, in the toe box, the ankle, and really all around, they are super wide, so they feel loose when I walk. I realize these are rain boots, so you can't really expect a tremendous amount of comfort and support, but I've purchased cheapo rain boots at Walmart that fit better than these. The way these are constructed, the laces are really mostly just for decoration - you can't really tighten them to adjust the fit much.And yet...I'm keeping them. Because they look awesome. I have lots of crazy, bright, patterned socks and that allows me to change the look of these every time I wear them. I love the smoky transparent look too, it is a little more subtle and grown-up looking than the full-on clear ones, but still really unique.Also, they tend to fog up on the inside when you're wearing them. It doesn't exactly look bad, but it's not ideal.

These are so cute!My issue is that even though I got a size up for toe room, they’re just not wide enough for my feet! They’re roomy in length but sooo thin! And considering how many variations of feet there are out here, my feet are not that wide! Although I do often prefer wides so my big toe can breathe!Any more than 30 min walking in these shoes is super painful for me! If you have thin toes you’ll be ok, but if you prefer wides they’re probably killer....Otherwise the rubber look gives you what you would expect. They’re not very comfortable.

like most clear shoes, they do fog up, but if you're wearing cool socks underneath, it really doesn't matter! i got these in a size 8, tho my size is usually 7. they're a little big, but not in an uncomfortable or obvious way. (usually with boots i go one or two half sizes up to compensate for sock thickness, and i do recommend doing the same here)

Love these boots. They are sooo comfortable and fit true to size for me. The only thing is that they fog up a bit after wearing for awhile but that's to be expected. I get tons of looks and compliments because of these boots. Glad I caught them while they were priced lower...

Really cool boots. They were exactly what I expected, they fit as expected & they are well made. The only problem I had with them is they need to be "worn in" is the best way I can describe this issue. They were really stuff when first outta the box & the tongue on the left boot was folded in & made the boot really uncomfortable to wear at first. I put one of those big black clips used 2 clip a bunch of papers together, on the tongue after I rolled it down & left it like that over night & every time I wasn't wearing the boot & now they are fine, feel fine. I love them! I get so many compliments & "where did u get those!" bc nobody has them. They are super-unique! And with Amazon prime I got them in 2 days! A.P. is the best!!!

I am a true 9. Sometimes 8.5 and sometimes 9.5 depending on the brand. This fits more like an 8.5 so if you plan on wearing thick socks, it would be safe to go up a size. I don't think this shoe was offered by half sizes, so 9 worked fine.
