Washing Machine Sensor for Whirlpool Cabrio Washers WPW10178988 AP6016377 PS11749664

We got this sensor because the fault code indicated look here, but when I looked under the machine the Allen bolt holding the motor cover was loose and also the nut holding the stationary part of the motor. So this sensor has not been used yet.

Fix my Bravos, wouldn’t spin took care of my issue. Install wasn’t to bad. YouTube for everything

Part worked flawlessly as described.My issue is with Whirlpool and the countless other useless brands they make. Avoid! Had to repair both the washer and dryer 3x in 5 years. Dryer almost caused a housefire due to heating element catching fire due to poor design.

I bought this replacement part in January 2018. Buying a second one on May 3rd, 2020. The original also only lasted about 2 years. This washing machine is defective and requires that this piece be replace. Luckily, it is not that expensive and not too difficult to replace. If you are handy at all with tools, you will be able replace this piece.

Came faster than expected. Cleared up the F51 code on my Maytag Bravo XL and has been working fine since replaced from the original part.

I have bought this as sensor replacement due to UL code on whirlpool washer but did not work as expected since it was making weird cycles after replacement even worse that the original ( bad part) I don't know if I was just unlucky and got a non working part so I have to return it
