Kensington KPP Natural Look Catch Fly Mask with Nose/Ears

The problem I have had with masks with noses is they are flimsy and won't stay on or they tear. This mask is made of serious material (almost indestructible) and with the nose keeping sunburn away and the ears keeping no see-ums out, my horses are much more comfortable. I have read that having the same color as the horse's own color diminishes the amount the others spend messing with it so that may also explain why they wear so well. As far as the catching part goes, the mask is sturdy like a halter. The area that the two connecting velcro pieces under that chin leaves open for a clip is not nearly as convenient as the loop on a real halter. I don't use it that way, I only care about the fly mask qualities so not a problem for me. The large fits my QH with a pretty big head but I have a draft cross that would need the XL if they made it. My Arab cross fits in the Medium size. They really need to make a XL version.

I have a small paint with a bald face, I got this mask to help minimize his sunburn. It has been working fantastically. He's a small horse, not quite 15 hands, so I purchased the small mask and it fits perfectly. The material is very hardy over the eyes and nose, but the fabric used over the ears is very soft. He has torn some holes in the ears but nothing major. I have tried a lot of different fly-masks, and this was by far the best one that I have ever purchased. It's a really great product and I would definitely recommend it.

Our colt was getting a badly sunburned nose. This has worked great & he tolerates it well. These are very well made.& I like the halter attachment feature.
