Metal to Metal adhesion terrific
Metal to Metal adhesion is almost as good as an electrical weld. Very paintable after curing. Photos of toy wind turbine & robotic arms I built using JB Weld Dark Grey!

Tubes are not always the same starting volume
Tubes are not equally filled. A multitude of times, theses' tubes have a significant air gap either the hardener or the resin. One I recently started, the hardener delivered a three inch bead before the resin caught up to it, causing an imbalance to the proper ratio of 1:1. I have seen this happen many times. Very poor quality control. “ Get them out no matter how their filled” seems to be the attitude to a very well performing product, otherwise. The company has got to get their act together. The epoxy tubes should be protruding a little further out, so as to stop the product cleanly, and not make a mess when you go to put the cap back on. Overall the product is great, and does what is suppose to.

You need to look at the product.
I had bought three tubes and the job used all of two tubes. The third tube on the white side , however was dried out. I had enough to do the job but was quite irritated when the third tube was dried out. Glad I did not need that tube. other than that, the product worked good it did what I wanted to do. Thanks
