Lyme Disease and Modern Chinese Medicine

This book is an easy to understand explanation of how to successfully treat an extremely complex disease which very very few doctors understand, and virtually no one else seems to know how to treat successfully.I spent 7 years and many tens of thousands of dollars seeing renowned Lyme doctors in the northeast (US), and just getting sicker and sicker. When I finally met Dr. Zhang he was the first and only Lyme doctor who could honestly tell me he has successfully cured his Lyme patients... others would just look at their shoes, or frankly tell me they did not think it could be cured, often after months or even years under their care.This book, and the protocol it recommends gave me my life back. I was diagnosed with Lyme September 2015 after suffering for 9 years. I found this book through the on-line recommendation from Dr. Andrew Weil's site. I feel that this is the best information and treatment for Lyme, and would not trust anyone else with my treatment. After reading the book, I went to the website and set up a phone consultation, at no charge. The people in the office are knowledgeable, and kind; also, the treatment is much less expensive then some of the other treatments that I researched (believe me I did a lot of research). I am grateful for this book, and for Stephanie, Pam and Dr. Zhang. If you are suffering from an Lyme, please let them help you, and I wish you well.

I've had Lyme Disease (diagnosed) since 2012 and have been treated medically and still have it. I love this doctors ideas and plan to possibly try in the future to speak with him. He gives me hope and 'maybe' I can get my life somewhat back. It's hard when you've suddenly (this past year) lost your short term memory.

Haven't read this yet but I will buy several books on Lyme as it sounds as if and what I know of environmentalism, self sufficiency, and what lies ahead, etc., I just feel better having it. As the earth warms, they say that deer ticks will get worse along with every other disease. I will know about this...you don't want to be dependent on your iphone when the grid goes out and don't expect to get a copy should the grid go down.I do not have any Chinese medicine books but this is a husband and wife team which I consider to be a plus and I think I may be just grateful to have various perspectives on Lyme disease should I ever need to deal with it.

Helpful in better understanding the usage of the herbs I'm taking for my chronic Lyme disease. Thank you for making this book available. I like to learn all the herbs and supplements I'm taking; the research and info about how they help.

Book is a waste of time. All the information you need from the book is available on the internet. All you need to do is do some googling and you can find all the information you need for treatment using the herbs. The book was written like many others just to make someone some money off of us that looking for help to get well. If you still find you need/wish to buy this book I will sell you mine at a discount so you don't waste as much money.

Incredible book written by a good Chinese Dr. I have awful brain fog so it's hard for me to comprehend, but had no problem reading the book and understanding it. Although the herbs didn't work for me, the book was wonderful (and know people who have done very well on the protocol). I highly recommend reading up and understanding which herb does what before ordering, so this book was very helpful! Glad I ordered it.

Very concise book, describing a sensible (holistic) approach, which, as the book points out, is lacking from the mainstream approach to Lymes.We are already mostly following a Klinghardt approach to Lymes but I very much wanted to find possible ways to support brain circulation and repair and other ideas on what might help Herxing, which this book includes.

Excellent book on modern Chinese medicine

I was excited to receive this book. It was in very good condition, looks new.Dr Zhang explains very simply but thoroughly the differences between western medicine and traditional chinese medicine and how they differ in their approach to chronic illnesses like Lyme Disease.he has developed 'the Zhang Protocol' which uses modern chinese medicine (taking the principles of traditional chinese medicine [tcm] and using some of the advances in western medicine to develop [MCM])Western medicine has failed many of us who suffer from chronic Lyme Disease. Dr Zhang explains how MCM can help Lyme Disease sufferers and also explains that his MCM approach is much, much cheaper than the western medicine approach.
