This stretch bracelet features ebony wood beads that come from the tropical forests of the Philippines. There are two accent beads in an antique brass finish with a yin yang design on both sides. The yin yang symbol is sometimes also called the Tai Chi symbol. Tai-Chi in turn comes from I-Ching which is the foundation of Chinese philosophy. The Yin Yang has a black and white part. The outer circle represents "everything", while the black and white shapes within the circle represent the interaction of two energies, called "yin" (black) and "yang" (white), which cause everything to happen. Neither symbol can exist without the other.
