Concise, insightful, and pugnacious (in a good way)
Msgr. Bux lucidly and calmly explains the grandeur of each sacrament, with attention to its history, theology, and practice. His remarks are often quite striking in their power of illumination, and he pulls no punches when it comes to modern-day abuses. He talks about both "forms" of the Roman Rite (the Ordinary & the Extraordinary), with appreciation for each, but with a general preference for the liturgical fullness or explicitness of the latter's rites and rubrics. All in all, I think this is an admirable work of catechesis and spirituality that can benefit all Catholic readers.

Great book!
A good retreat for reflecting on the Sacraments and how important they are for Catholics, especially in today’s world.
