Stitching doesn’t hold and it comes apart
It worked fine for about 2 days. Then the mesh pieces started pulling out of the top binding. Our dog is small and not rough on things. If it didn’t work for us, it probably won’t work for you. And we zip-tied a piece of wood to the bottom to keep our dog from going under it. That worked.

Not for large breeds in my opinion
I think the magic gate is a good product for a small dog or small child. But for my German Shepherd who tends to think things through was not a good product for him. He immediately saw the weakness in the material and went straight under it almost ripping it to shreds. So if you have a dog with muscle forget about it you need a stronger fence maybe wooden or metal

Nice barrier
We could not find a regular gate for our bedroom door because it is so narrow. This works well. I guess my big boxer could come crashing in, but he doesn't. I just told him no. It is easy to remove when necessary. We used hooks to attach it to the wall, not the screws they had. It works better for us, but their way would have been fine, too. We are pleased.

Keeping my 10 month old off the stairs
This thing is working wonders for keeping my 10 month old off the stairs. Our house is older and the stairs are a funky size with the banister and railing. This is working as a great solution. She can't get through at all. She can hold onto it and stand up, but she can't pull it down. I used Command hooks, as some others have posted. Definitely a good child blocker for an infant.

Didn’t work for me...
My dog was able to figure out how to push through underneath the bottom so it wasn’t effective for me. I think it was a little too stretchy.

My dog crawled under it, too stretchy and bendy
My dog crawled under it, no stability.
