Sew Easy Sashiko Embroidery Cotton Fabric 1m x 1.42m - Dark Navy

I purchased this "sashiko" fabric and when I received it I was very dismayed. The fabric is see-through and so very flimsy and horrible. I would not waste my thread, time or energy to put ONE STITCH into this, it should not even be sold, it is so bad. No self-respecting stitcher would want to use this for any project, not just sashiko. It is some of the worst quality fabric I have ever seen. If you are looking for crappy thin fabric that has no body or texture at all, made of the worst lowest cotton ever from China, then go ahead and get this! But if you want to use quality materials in your work, I would steer clear because this is just horrible nasty stuff, worse than probably what you could buy at WalMart. Save your money and go for Kaufman Essex fabric that is 50% cotton and 50% linen, available from many good sellers here on Amazon or otherwise online. Or use a good 100% cotton sashiko fabric available from sellers such as Shibori Dragon or A Threaded Needle online. This fabric featured should not even be sold and in fact if someone were to offer it for free I would completely pass it up. The only help the seller could offer is to return it...by paying my own money to send it back to ENGLAND....????? VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS PURCHASE!!!

I ordered this with the associated thread,needles and marker. Only the thread and fabric arrived and attempts to correct this proved difficult. I have already written one review, which has not appeared, making me wonder how reviews are selected, but it, like this, reflected my disappointment in the quality and incomplete delivery of my order.

I love the deep Indigo colour and the excellent quality of this fabric. I'm using it for Sashiko and it's excellent for this, well that's what it's supposed to be used for.Quick dispatch from the seller and well packaged.
