CanonAccessories 3485C001 Canon Extension Grip Eg-E1(Re)

I bought this for my husband to use with his camera. It is pricey for what it is but has been helpful for him to hold the camera with his large hands.

I was hoping that this extended had a little more weight to it, to help balance my camera when I have my 24-70 lens on it, but it does help transfer the weight of the lens into the heel of my palm better. Red looks awesome too! Definitely an improvement for my RP.

I have seen a lot of third party options, while granted they are more cheaper I am not a person that enjoys too much of third party accessories. This was an expensive buy but either way I am happy with it.

I migrated from a DSLR (Canon 60D) to a mirrorless (Cannon EOS RP) body and didn’t really appreciate the trade off of a smaller body until I plopped a larger zoom lens on my camera. I found that my hand was quickly getting tired trying to balance the weight of the larger lens. Adding this grip extender restored the balance I had had with my old DSLR. Yes, it’s overpriced. But if you are a guy, with typical male hand size, you’re going to appreciate this body modification. Get it.

Great component for the Canon RP camera, you can hold the camera better and increase the height, which improves for the FullFrame 24-105 lens.
