Steady Rollator Carrier - Single - SRC-30

This has definitely made our life easier. Trying to put the rollator in and out of the car was just too difficult. Would love to find and all weather bag to protect rollator from the elements.

This product arrived without the necessary hitch pin or the pin to secure the spring loaded top latch. It’s not suitable to be installed on a truck and used with a large rolling walker as there is not sufficient clearance between the top latch bar and the tailgate to fit the walker. It took us until yesterday to find a hitch pin for the receiver only to find the bolts to adjust the bottom brackets were painted on. When we tried to adjust the bolts one snapped in two.I feel like I’ve been robbed since they closed the window for a return only 30 days after receipt in the midst of a pandemic.

It does what it's supposed to do and easy to install

It needs a trailer hitch besides. not shown or explained in the ad. Difficult and expensive to put on and a ridiculous design. Hard to load the walker. I

SON-IN-LAW ORDERED FOR ME. HAD TO BUY 1 1/4" TO 2" CONVERSION SLEEVE AND DRILL HOLES FOR HITCH KEY. ALSO BLOCKS REAR VIEW CAMERA ON JEEP CHEROKEE.

The video shows the man pulling a pin on a rounded bar and lowering the bar to access the trunk. However, this unit has the square shafts and can't be lowered so I would not be able to get into my suv trunk. The product description doesn't mention that the spring clamp is very difficult to lift. The tall bar doesn’t accommodate my tall walker. Their 20% restocking fee is $55.99 (on the previous selling price) and return with UPS is $20.72.

Great idea, but has some design flaws. Walker does not appear secure from falling off because of wiggle in hitch extension AND spring loaded attachment hook not holding walker tightly. This carrier also did NOT accommodate my NOVA mighty max.

In addition to having the hitch adapted we had to use several bungee cords to steady the unit due to excessive wobbling. When I hit a bump going slowly in a park the walker popped off. I'm glad no one was behind me. And yes, the clamp was on properly.(And as someone mentioned is hard to lift) My walker was pretty banged up but usable. The carrier went unused for 6 months until we decided that it would be less strain to get the walker off the carrier after surgery rather lifting it in and out of the back of the suv. It took two trips and the same thing happened, this time in rush hour traffic on my way back from a post-op follow-up. I had to disassemble the carrier in the dark to get my hatch open to put the walker in. That time cost me a tire on the walker. The carrier now sits in my garage for the past six months . I'm our a whole lot of money for the carrier, the hitch, the installation and adaptation.
