French Champagne Vinegar - 5 Liters

The flavor was good and the price was great.

I purchased this champagne vinegar to make light refrigerator pickles inspired by Tartine All Day. It leads to great, light pickles that do not require an abundance of salt, spices, or sugar to properly preserve.However, this vinegar smelled and tasted so good that I've started to use it in my salads and as a finishing vinegar. Before, I used the highest quality apple cider or red wine vinegar I could find, but both of those have a substantially stronger flavor and sometimes overpowers the salad or meal. This champagne vinegar is light, crisp, and refreshing with a full finish. It does not have the chemical cleaning product smell of distilled white vinegar or the sweetness of apple cider vinegar or the weight and density of red white vinegar. I use it when I want the bite of a lemon but not the citrus.

When bought in grocery stores this is rather expensive vinegar, as it is generally sold in small bottles. This is a high quality vinegar for any culinary use.

Great for refrigerator pickles combined with apple cider vinegar. Nice flavor, delicate and nuanced.

This is a wonderful tasting vinegar..My thought is that this is a lOT of vinegar but I have the space to store it so, yay. Champagne vinegar in my Safeway is over $10 for 6.8 oz. For the taste and quantity this is a win.

Are use the vinegar to make a spicy, grainy mustard for Christmas presents. Great stuff.

Tastes and looks like apple cider. Next to W-S champagne cider it's obvious.Qurlle ripoff!
