Good value!
It measures from the bottom of the case, or from the front if you hold the function button a couple of seconds, repeatability is good, laser strong and nice handy small housing, two AA batteries. Display is bright, white on black, good readability, usable outside, better with a little home made shade if to be used in full sunlight.

Do the math yourself!
Brilliant laser distance measure if it were to give distance in inches or feet, as the description seems to suggest. It does not. Meter it is!
