Bad buttons make this barely usable
Poor functionality, poor design.* Intermittent brickingThese things intermittently just turn off -- I don't mean the audio stops playing; I mean they power off without a sound, then won't power back up, and no light displays when plugged into a charging cable. I'm not sure what inspired them to start working again -- just that one of the times that I pressed the power button they decided to light up and turn back on again.* Bad connectionAlso they don't hold BT connection well. They just stop playing or lose connection intermittently, even when neither I nor the connected device have moved.* Terrible buttonsThe buttons are just awful. There are three buttons: multifunction (MF -- for play/pause and power on/off), + (vol up, forward, BT/SD), and - (vol down, backward). All three are very tiny and the same size and shape. All three are placed VERY close together in a row. It's nearly impossible to press MF. I kept trying to press pause, for example, but instead would hit the + or - button and would skip forward or backward. Worse, I would be trying to pause, or to adjust the volume, and would accidentally double-click the + button and get launched into the SD card mode and get the pre-loaded music blasting in my ears. This first happened while I was on a phone call and it took the longest time to even figure out what was happening. Terrible UI.* Shuts off with no "Battery Low" warning. When the battery runs down, the voice says "Battery Low" once, and then the headphones power off immediately. In other words, it's not a warning; it's an announcement.* Bad audioThe audio quality is also markedly worse than other BT headphones in this price range. I don't know how to describe this sort of thing, but I'd call it a metallic, treble-heavy sort of sound. Not worth waiting to see how long it would take for these to permanently brick, because even while they work, they're awful. I returned these for a refund after a day.

The perfect mp3 player
I love this thing! After a month or so of consistent use I am ready to review this.No more wires to get snagged on, great sound, efficient buttons, easy to upload songs, comfortable earpieces, long battery life, and bluetooth OR SD card possible. Nothing comes close to this in price. I don't need my sansa clips anymore...I have used this to work out in, run in, hike in and it is amazing. You can get the music LOUD enough so it is difficult to hear ambient sounds but I like that. Simply turn down the volume. The instructions suck on how to work it - the only knock I have found with this. (I will include how to use it below). I have not used bluetooth mode but I suspect it drains the battery life more than just SD card mode. I have NOT tested this theory.instructions on use:There are three buttons on the RIGHT earpiece. Minus (-), On/Off ( O), Plus (+).-->To turn on or off: hold down the MIDDLE button for about 3-4 seconds. There is a little light that will turn red when it is turning off. It turn blue when turning on. In each case, if you have one of the earpieces it will say "turning on" or "turning off".-->when turning on: It automatically ALWAYS turn on to "Bluetooth mode". Hit the minus or plus buttons twice quickly to switch to the SD card mode. Music begins automatically if you have any loaded on SD card. Hit either twice again: bluetooth mode.-->VOLUME: HOLD DOWN either the minus or plus to decrease or increase sound volume--> Changing songs: Hit ONCE the minus (goes back a song) or hit ONCE the plus (goes forward a song). When you are in bluetooth mode, u simply turn on your phone's bluetooth and it automatically senses it. you connect on your phone and that's it. My friend has an iphone8 and it instantly connected (and she's had problems in the past with other devices). The micro-usb port is on the right earpiece underneath (on the belly) of the earpiece. if you connect it to a PC and it doesn't open - you have a NON DATA MICRO USB connector. It's a user error, not a product issue.CONS:-instructions that come with it are very difficult to understand. trial and error worked for me.-the wire sometimes sticks to my neck. I suppose if i didn't sweat there wouldn't be an issue. it's so trivial I shouldn't have brought it up.why haven't you bought this yet?!UPDATE NOTE: still love it, another co-worker bought this and she loves it. price/value/sound/convenience. check.

Try something else - not worth the money
These headphones look great, but don't work that great. People say there is lots of static and back ground noise when I talk to them using this headphone. Also frequently turns itself off, even in the middle of a call - doesn't "drop" the call - literally just turns off. Often have to hold down the buttons for a while and reset it to reconnect to phone after charging. Only has about a 10 hour charge, even without use.

Okay for the price.
The are a little hard to get to sit right in my ears but for the price they are just fine. My biggest issue is that when you are turning the sound up, there is a beep that is positively deafening when it gets as loud as it can go. The music itself will never be even close to as loud as the beep is which makes no sense. So if you like your music loud I would suggest that you turn it up before putting it in your ears. I kid you not that sound is life ending if you aren't braced for it. If it wasn't for that and if the volume was a bit louder, I'd give it more stars. For the price though they are good enough.
