Rimmel 60 Seconds Super-Shine, 8ml, Mermaid Fin

This is really nice. I did put a good top coat on so no sure it would be as long lasting without. But so far 5 days and no chipping.

Kinda thick and gloopy. Not the easiest to apply without streaks and / ridges. No idea if it's the formula or it's just an Amazon Special that's been sat in the warehouse for 200 years. Could be either. It applies like an old polish anyway. I'd have to get another bottle to know for sure; until then it's anyone's gamble. Nice colour. It's not emerald at all, more like a very dark teal, but really pretty whatever they want to call it. Good glossy finish assuming it doesn't streak (see previous point). Opacity is good but I think this is only down to the thickness (which as mentioned I didn't really like) so I'm kind of neutral on this point. Longevity seems pretty good for a cheap polish - about 3 days, maybe 4 with a good top coat. I've used worse. I've also used *much* better but not at this price point. If it cost more I'd knock off a star, but I can't really complain about cheap and cheerful. There are drawbacks, but if you're happy to work around them for a good price I'd say it's worth it.

Lovely colour and easy to apply. The varnish dries very quickly. You could get away with applying one coat if you were in a rush.

Very pretty colour, but takes more like 60 minutes to dry, i am never without a dent in the polish. would recommend using a dash of acetone into the bottle and shaking once it gets a bit older, this also helps with the drying time and stops it being sticky for as long.

Does what it says, good range of colours and reasonable price

Really pretty colour (i’d say it’s more coral than pink, like the picture shows). Applicator is wide so allows for easy application. Last fairly well if you use a top coat, which i have from the same brand.

I love this! It's surprisingly a very great polish that dries quickly and is of high quality! In my photos I have Cool Ranch (from Holo Taco) on 3 of my fingers and a polish called Mermaid Fin by Rimmel London on my other 2 fingers. I personally think the two polishes go well together and have the same vibe! Love it. Anyways the photos doesn't do these polishes justice (especially because I'm not a professional at painting my nails) but if you're reading this, I hope I've influenced you to give these a try!
