Garbage
Bought this as a present for my teaching partner after she introduced me to the Instagram account. The Insta is a funny and tongue in cheek meme with bitter follower comments. This book is a collection of bitter vignettes of teaching, and the author goes after protected classes. Was highly disappointed. Must have missed the memo it’s ok for teachers to viciously put down student with disabilities - want my copy? I’ll send it to you for free.

This book is everything!
This book says everything that all teachers are thinking and/or saying all across the country! It's basically a teacher support group in written form. Anyone who can't relate to this book 100%, must not be a teacher. Don't miss the chance to read this gospel on the current state of teaching. Preach, Jane Morris, preach!

Light hearted and humorous look into teachers world
The first book I picked up randomly to read over summer break on the beach. It made me laugh so hard I cried and probably looked like a lunatic on that beach. I instantly told all of my friends to read it after giving them a read aloud of a particularly funny chapter. When I received this book for Christmas I knew I had to save it for spring break-and it did not disappoint! Being a teacher is an awesome job, and lots of fun -so of course you have moments during your job that make you laugh out loud. This book covers all those moments and is the perfect outlet that helps other teachers understand that they’re not alone. Highly recommend to teachers and non teachers alike!

Hilarious and horrifying.
I read the first book as well and this one is equally as engaging. Hilarious and insightful. I knew being a teacher was hard, but the extent of the abuse teachers receive on a daily basis from students, parents and administrators really shocked me. This should be mandatory reading for the entire US Department of Education and I highly encourage parents, teenagers and others to read it as well.

Everyone - not just teachers - needs to read this
10-year teacher here, and this book was gold. It's sadly and hilariously true. People everywhere need to read this, especially non-teachers, so people can know what we go through and that all the stories are REAL. Jane Morris' commentary kept me laughing, shaking my head yes, and feeling united with her and other teachers everywhere!

Could only be funnier if it werent so painfully true
This book descirbes my work life perfectly! I sat on a cruise ship reading these out loud to my sister(also a teacher), random people were stopping to listen and laugh along. It could only be funnier if it werent painfully true!

Be prepared to laugh till your stomach hurts
This is the third book by Jane Morris and it is fantastic. Everything in this book is spot on accurate. I taught for 14 years in India. This is only my second year in the US as a teacher. Jane’s Narrative is impeccable. I laughed and laughed until I cried. My teenage daughter and I were taking turns reading the book. . Of course I finished reading first. I highly recommend this book. Thank you for writing this.

Even better than the first book
I didn't think things could get any better or any crazier after the first book but Jane Morris proved me wrong. The stories are even more outrageous, frustrating and jaw dropping than the first book. Fabulous read that every teacher will enjoy.

Really good sequel!
There were a few stories which I felt needed the more severe “f### you with a bear” emojis, but otherwise a really good follow up to the first book (which I bought on special during World Teachers Day and was feeling cynical about the day). A valuable insight into how the US educational (dys)functions.
