Culina Bamboo Utensils Drawer. Expandable, 18"x 12.75 X 2"

I measured my drawers before purchasing, so I knew it would fit. It looks far nicer than my previous utensil holder, but even though it's expandable it did not create more space for my flatware. Regardless, it looks nicer and accommodates my beautiful yamazaki aquatique ice flatware perfectly. It is large and takes up most of my drawer, so I don't have extra storage for my collection of chopsticks and serving utensils, whereas my previous cheap ugly wire holder did, but the flatware was cramped. I also put one in my drawer for miscellaneous kitchen utensils, like my knives, cork screw, sharpener, etc and I managed to make everything fit. It spaces the drawer out nicely and keeps the utensils from rolling around when the drawer is opened/closed. All in all, I'm happy with the quality, it feels solid, and looks spectacular!

For $15 it's hard to get more than this. It comes in a nice box and seems quality and well made. The two side compartments slide in and out to make the organizer bigger or smaller. I could easily believe someone spent $40 on this and it looks very nice in my kitchen. It is hard to find a utensil organizer for a very large drawer and this one is huge, you can fit it right to your drawer size. One concern to keep in mind is that it will slide around if you don't have some kind of rubbery bottom on your drawer, and without some kind of friction free bottom the side compartments will either close up or open up more than you want them to. I placed down some drawer liner under the thing and it stays put wonderfully now.

Our kitchen utensils drawers were overflowing with things we never used making it hard to find those things we wanted. So the solution was to buy two of these drawer organizers, separate the wanted items and give the others to Good Will. The Culina Bamboo Utensils Drawer was perfect for our purpose and fit the into the drawer with ease. The quality is very good and it is attractive. We are very proud of our efforts and highly recommend this product.

Its a goof buy. Fits well in my large drawer. And best is I can keep changing the size and orientation of this. Over all very sturdy and nice product. Have nice size compartments.I am giving this a 4 star because i got hurt with a splinter from this as soon as i opened it. I am know these things happen but With a products priced this way and with good reviews... I expected it to be finished in the bottom side too.

I like the design very much. It would be better if there was a way to lock the expanding drawers in the open position. Having them full helps but they are still prone to slide in and out in the drawer. The biggest problem is that the "bamboo" is a thin, brittle veneer. Flexing during manufacture or shipment caused small pieces of the veneer to break away from the interior base. I think I may end up spraying the interior with polyurethane to strengthen it. But there's no better design for our needs.

This works great in my double size kitchen draw for larger items other than my silverware. Large spoons, knives, steak knives, pen, other kitchen gadgets. Keeps them neat and organized. I WISH these organizers would come with silicone or rubber stoppers that would stop their sliding in the drawer as the pressure from opening and closing the drawer occurs with normal use. I'm light on drawers, but they still move around.

This utensil holder really worked out nicely. I like that it's expandable so it isn't sliding around when I open and close the drawer. Overall its a nice piece. Only taking a star off because the dividers tend to come loose and I'll probably end up having to glue them in eventually.

I like the layout and looks to this. Keeping it extended requires a little engineering though. I had to jam a chop stick between the collapsing pieces to keep them open, then use some other odds and ends to hopd it in place in the drawer, but it worked.

well of all the things to write about id have to say this was not one o thought i would, however, I will say now that I was utterly surprised by the quality and usefulness. fit right in and worded lie charm the expanding draws allowed us to organise the difficult and odd things. the smell of the bamboo is nice and help to keep things much fresher. the varying sizes of this item makes it indispensable

... endlich eine hübsche Bestecklade gefunden! Die Plastikdinger gingen mir schon auf die Nerven. Die Messerspitzen haben sich bei denen immer wieder durchgebohrt. Sieht gut aus - ist für meine Lade leider etwas zu schmal, aber das macht mir nichts, sie rutscht nicht und ich lege seitlich noch lange Teile dazu. Man kann eine Schublade innen schon ein wenig aufwerten mit dem Teil und hat auch gut Platz für die kleinen Dinge.Große lange Messer passen leider nicht allzu viele rein. Sonst super.

Der Einsatz ist von sehr guter Qualität, läßt sich leicht auf die Größe der Schublade anpassen, gut verarbeitet und ich bin so zufrieden, daß ich mir gleich noch einen zweiten bestellt habe. Absolute Kaufempfehlung meinerseits.

Preis geht in Ordnung auch die Schnelle Lieferung / Verpackung war OK . Nur wenn mann die Einsätze in Gebrauch hat, sollte mann sich nicht wundern wenn sich nach und nach die Trennleisten ablösen -gut das es Holzleim gibt auch kleine Schräubchen helfen (aber Bitte vorsichtig vorbohren) oder doch gleich den richtigen Kunststoffeinsatz Kaufen!!
