What good is a slicer that doesn't slice the limes & lemons but crushes the juice out, how can these reviews be so good? We thought we would be able to slice the limes, lemons, etc, and be quick and clean with doing it, this machine, however, it just pushes the lime down and using force with difficulty and in doing so, squeezes the juice from the slices and puddles that below it with an end result of crushed juiceless slices. So disappointing, for this price! I don't understand how are the reviews claiming this is terrific? Don't believe them! Unless the manufacturer tells me something different or I am doing something wrong here, no directions come with it? but we have tried it several ways with reversing the fruit and also slicing a small piece off to get the slicer to hopefully cut thru the lime easier, nothing worked just juiceless sections, thumbs down on this one

TLDR: It cuts citrus faster than a meth addicted Amish man churning butter.Long read: We bought this for our favorite bartender, Issac at Tony’s Bar & Liquor Store in Winter Garden FL, for whom slicing citrus is not a yummy part of his bar work.You would think that we gave the guy a gold brick - he is so happy to use it, and reports back to us how much time we have saved him when it comes to prep. Without hyperbole, his prep has gone from 15-20 minutes to 3. Clean up & sanitizing is easy as well.We really try to take care of our favorite bartenders, because they work to take care of us. Issac and we have a mostly money based relationship, but he also understands that time equals money, and more time dedicated to his guests equates to more money in his pocket. It is honestly shocking that the bar owner does see this logic, and equip his team with better tools to do the job… but you can’t fix the world, I guess.
