The little Chinese-style teacups that come with this set are a bit smaller though (80 ml), so you’ll get about 14 cups total from just one teapot. In summary: it’s the perfect size for teatime with a few friends. ❓ Question: What type of stove can this be heated on? 🔆 Answer: Any kind of stovetop will work (gas, electric, ceramic, glass), although the following details are important: In general (for any stovetop), we recommend to heat the teapot gradually as the stove heats, rather than putting a cold teapot directly onto a very hot stove. In the case of an induction cooktop, you may need to use a frying pan (or metal disk containing iron) between the teapot and the stove in order to transfer heat. ❓ Question: Does it whistle? 🔆 Answer: No, it does not whistle, or hum, or sing any show tunes.

Does and is what it claims
I am incredibly pleased with this set! First, it is an absolute delight to look at. I love the cups that come with this beautiful teapot as they are the perfect size and shape for little hands (my children use these during tea time). Everything cleans up so easily and fits into place so well, and the teapot really can be placed on a cold stove and then heated up without any problems. Great product!

Pretty, practical, and safe
I love not worrying that we are getting lead poisoning. The teapot is very practical and easy to clean. The cups hold more tea than I expected, and it is fun to refill them rather than drink one huge mug of tea. When the tea drops and steam cling to the sides of the cups, they glisten like gold - a very pretty sight!

Modern Design and makes great tea!
Such a sophisticated, appealing and modernly functional tea set. This design is exquisite and makes tea easily with an easy clean up. I wanted a tea set thats not quite the 1500's but still a great purpose. Perfext for my daily tea use and a fun way to have tea time.

Amazing!
This is easily my favorite thing I bought from amazon. The quality is impeccable. You can set it on the stove to warm/boil you’re tea. The cups are so cute I just love everything about this

Beautiful, but disappointed with functionality
I love the look of the teapot however the functionality of it is extremely disappointing. It is smaller than an electric burner, the cover can not be used without the infuser, you cannot fill the pot to the top without having spillover from the spout when it begins to boil. Extremely disappointing.

Lovely set- smaller than expected.
I’ve been wanting a transparent tea pot for a while now. I bought this in the hopes of doing some fancy flowering tea, steeping ginger and so forth. Also, the cups are so unique and I thought the shape would be easy for my kids to hold onto. I do love the shape and double-wall glass! The cups are adorable. My kids love them too. Expectation fulfilled! I love the lines of the teapot. It pours flawlessly (many teapots drip). It’s a bit smaller than anticipated and the cups are so tiny! That’s ok, but I was disappointed that when you remove the “removable” infuser, the teapot lid doesn’t not fit. I wish I could cap it even without the infuser. That would have made this product 5 stars for me. It’s advertized you can slowly heat on the stovetop and also microwaveable (without infuser). I’m not going to test that. Happy with the product, again I just wish I could use the lid without the infuser. The lid is too small.

Perfect little teapot
This is the perfect little teapot. It has 4 really small glass teacups that are the perfect size. You can have a tea party or jus enjoy a pot of tea for yourself. Absolutely love it
