I am trying to go green and know our area will be asking us to provide our own bags when shopping for food, etc. I decided to try these because of the great features: center areas have dividers for items like juice that often tip over, and you can unfasten the Velcro attachment on the dividers to make your bag fit whatever you are filling the bag up with.Now for the BAD part: These bags are SO VERY STINKY - like stuff made in China stinky (you know that smell when you go to the dollar store and buy something encased in plastic, but much worse!) that it has taken me weeks to get the smell to a point where they can even be left in my car overnight. I tried setting them in the sun (for a weekend!) with a fabric softener sheet packed into each section...not much help. Stuffed them with paper towels sprayed with a bit of odor eliminator, and finally baking soda sprinkled inside. If they are in the sun in my car, I can still smell it, but it is finally at the point where it is livable... YUCK!
