Hot Racing ATF18M02 Aluminum Adjustable Motor Mount Arrma 1:10 4x4 3s 4S Blx

This works great if you want to change the gears in your Arms Typhon 3S. It lets you change to gears that you can get. The stock one is fixed, and you can't find gears in those sizes, not even straight from Arrma. It includes screws but not directions.I am using the 3S motor box on a mega. This let me put a 1/8 castle brushless set up as the included is for a 1/10 scale model. The 3S is also a 3mm pinion motor, but is better set to handle a 5mm set up. Although I think you could put a 5mm pinion brushless set up on the stock mega, it is a plastic motor mount and I think would be too weak for the torque.Currently I am using the stock mega spur. It's 91 tooth compared to I think 53T on the 3S. I am using a 27 tooth pinion compared to the stock 15T on both if I remember correctly. This seems to sit in about the bigger end of the mesh. Could go bigger if I wanted. I think this should fit the stock gears of the 3S, but it's hard for me to say as I am not using it's stock platform. It does look like it should give you room to go both up a lot, and down a little on the stock gears.

I was hoping it would be stronger as advertised, but it's simply not. It bends just like the stock Arrma 3S BLX motor mount that comes with the V3 cars. From what I hear of the V2's, they're golden (but also discontinued). This Hot Racing motor mount is by no means a replacement that will provide any more benefit than the stock one that Arrma gives you with the car. I was hopeful too, but it's not going to happen.Having said that, I still have the Hot Racing motor mount installed on my Arrma Big Rock V3, but it's bent 2 times already and both times, I took it out of the power module to bend it back. Not fun.CONCLUSION:If you're hoping this is a cheap replacement for your stock Arrma motor mount, this is not it. It's priced pretty much the same as the stock one and doesn't perform any better whatsoever.

Works great. Nice to be able to use whatever size pinion you want and set your own mesh.
