The book is great! Enjoy the history of Marvel and Stan Lee understanding the part where he sadly overshadowed the value of the Bullpen members from John Romita, Sr. to the sad lack of appreciation for Jack Kirby.The worst thing about this, is don’t buy the book from Amazon. They shipped it in a large box with a piece of shrink-wrap around a $200.00 book. There wasn’t a corner of the book that wasn’t damaged! I complained specifically and they took a return and sent a second book….THE EXACT SAME WAY! You would think that they would show greater concern about the purchase of this magnitude.Finally, the book is great. Delivery horrific

What a fitting tribute to Stan Lee. This book is bigger than life, just like the man. This book is GIGANTIC. This isn't a criticism but you will have a logistical conundrum figuring out how to comfortably read it. I've chosen the bed approach. Sit cross legged with your back supported or against the back board. Prop this monster book on pillows and or blankets to hold it. Enjoy. The photos are glorious and the story of Stan's life is interesting and enjoyable to learn about. What a fitting monument to this wonderful man. I especially enjoyed his forward and he seemed to really be thrilled with the book and how large it was going to be. I have worked in the printing industry for the last 25 years and know that the quality of this is second to none. From the die cutting of the dust cover to the supported blacks and colors of the litho printing to the stitching of this perfect bound book. Excelsior.

What a magnificent work of art. Yes, a very large book but it had to be. After all it is all about a true legend. Filled with wonderful photos, comic pages, story boards, and inside information about a man who changed and influenced so many lives. If you are a fan of comic books, Marvel, DC, it doesn't matter, please do yourself a favor and get this book. You will not be disappointed. Excelsior, Stan Lee!! You will never be forgotten.

This book is such an amazing coffee table book/conversation piece. An incredible treasure trove of Stan Lee and general comic book information, with full issues of some towards the back as well. A must have for any real enthusiast, or even new, Marvel/Stan Lee fan!

The book is sitting on my coffee table. It's a large book but it's Stan Lee. Enjoy reading but really looking at all the pictures of comics which brings back memories.

Fun to read, but my goodness the SIZE! Not something you can read on your lap. How could Roy Thomas not do a good job writing about his long-time comics companion!

I purchased this as a gift for my son, a big Stan Lee fan. He loved it!

This product was useless since it is in GERMAN. My sister ordered the same book and received the same GERMAN edition. This was to be a gift, how disappointing.

Ich hoffe, dass diese Ausgabe nun in Englisch ist. Die erste Bestellung war leider ein Flop,da das Buch in französischer Sprache war. Hab leider nicht genau in der Beschreibung geschaut .....achtet also drauf! Ich will meinen Freund eine Freude machen, und das wird auch super klappen!!!
