I bought an Easy Bake Oven and this recipe book for my grandchildren to use at my house. I should have paid more attention to the other reviews because the Oven takes so long to cook, the children lose interest. What DID work, however, was making up the recipes from this book and bagging individual packets. The kids love using the small pans and making their own cakes. We bake them in my regular oven. Instead of the 1 hour+ that the Easy Bake Oven takes, their little cakes are done in about 10 minutes, just time for them to mix up some frosting. So, I recommend just buying this cook book, a few small pans, and using mom's oven. Much cheaper and lots of fun.

Perfect quantities and the recipes actually are delicious! No need to buy the expensive and gross tasting pre packaged stuff. We made the cheese pizzas today and they were very good!

I am a mom of a little easy baker and this cookbook is a GODSEND! Those $6.99 Easy Bake Oven kits ADD UP. This book is great. Most recipies are for sweets, but there is a quesadilla and a pizza recipie, and a few other non sweet selections. The writing is large, perfect for early readers.

Bought this item #1 the refill picks are not cheap #2 so that my grand daughter can have ,well more organic than the preservative filled packets that come with the oven. The recipes are simple ,big print and best of all she will never run out of the mixed and will be able to use the oven as often as possible rather then it sitting in the corner. Very resonable price , less than one refill pack.👌

Awesome little book! My niece has an Easy Bake Oven and for the past couple years, her grandma has been going all around town trying to buy up all the Easy Bake mixes she can find.I was tired of being forced to eat red 40 and other fluorescent colored and oddly flavored ‘cakes’ when I’d visit, so this is a lifesaver for them AND me! Hehe, Now they can bake with basic ingredients you’d find in any pantry, phew!!It was a excellent gift for my niece.

The recipes in this book are easy to follow and taste so much better than the refill packs for the easy bake oven. They give your child a chance to actually make something from scratch and not just pour pre-measured packs into a bowl. Since Christmas, after we used 4 refill packs, we have made two cakes from this recipe and they all taste so much better than the refills, probably because you don't taste chemicals with every bite.

I was very pleased with this recipe book. It was a birthday gift for my oldest granddaughter. The book has a lot of recipes for the Easy Bake Oven using ingredients you already have like flour, sugar, eggs, and such. This provides great tasting results rather than boxed cake sand cookies. I highly recommend it!

a must have..since packs are so expensive

This is a wonderful way for little girls (and boys) to learn how to cook. It teaches them about weights and measures in a painless way and they can eat the results! Marvelous, my grandchildren love it. Highly recommended.

If you plan on buying your child an Easy Bake, than this book is a must have, Jane is a genius .....pure genius....unless of coarse you like paying crazy amounts for tiny tiny pre-made kit.Everything in here was specifically designed for easy bake.
