Contains maltodextrin, which has a high GI and causes blood sugar spikes.However, available capsules without maltodextrin seem to contain inflammatory vegetable oils.Neither is perfect.Update 14/1/2021I have been taking two of these tablets (8,000-10,000 IU?) daily for almost two years and have just had my blood vitamin D level tested: 90nmol/L (36 ng/ml)Insufficiency is below 75nmol/L (30ng/ml) and the ideal range is 100-150nmol/L (40-60ng/ml).So, after 10,000 IU daily for almost 2 years, I am not even in the ideal range!In my opinion, the recommended daily dose is a joke.I am going to increase my daily dose to 12,000 IU and test again in 3 months.IF YOU ARE TAKING VITAMIN D SUPPLEMENTS, YOU MUST TAKE A TEST TO ENSURE YOU HAVE REACHED THE OPTIMUM LEVEL. Everybody is different and some supplements are not what they should be; at the very least, I now know that these tablets aren't just chalk!

Good product

The media could not be loaded.  This product comes in a pouch but it’s advertised in a container, on the website it says 4000iu but on the label it says 5000iu. It is completely misleading. I would understand if they said ‘it will be in a pouch to help the planet’ though I bought it cause I liked the bottle.
