I have ordered quite a lot of Jewelry through Amazon.com recently in anticipation of the Christmas season, plus I have several December birthdays coming up. I have been satisfied with most of it so far,until today! The "Rhodium Plated Diamond Accent Amethyst Heart Shape Pendant Necklace" arrived. I don't think I have ever been as disappointed with anything that I have ordered from amazon in my very long history of ordering from or through them... I ordered the Amethyst and it is a pretty color, and it is a very pretty necklace, but it is so tiny you can barely see the features. It might cover a dime in size, I shsould have gotten a dime out of my purse and comparrd them! I really think the face of the dime would be larger! I will do that test tomorrow and post the result on here. The detailed description may have mentiioned that you need a magnifying glass to see it well and to make out the details, but since I had been ordering jewelry for several months now and had not been disappointed with any of the pieces that I had already bought, and as the necklace looks as if it would be a normal size, I just assumed this one would be, also. How wrong I was! I bought it to give as either a birthday gift or a Christmas gift to one of my female children, either my daughter or one of my granddaughters or one of several great granddaughters that I have, but this is so tiny, I will have to give it to one of the really young ones, like perhaps my very-soon-to-be-ten year old great granddaughter, only because of the tiny size. I hesitate to do that, as I paid more for this one than I normally do for the younger girls in the family, and I have already purchased several necklaces to give to this particular child! I do have another great granddaughter who will be 15 years old on her birthday in FEb. and I suppose I can save it and give it to her, but I am not sure if it is not too small even for her. She is not a large girl, she is more on the petite size, and doesn't prefer gaudy jewelry, but this necklace is so small, really miniaturized, that I am not sure that she will not be disappointed with it. I wish Jewelry Sellers would let us know when something is much, much smaller than the pictured image they show it in. It would be such a help. I have several more Jewelry items "saved" in my cart on amazon, but I doubt that I will go through with the order now, afraid of getting "BURNT" again. Buyer Beware on this particular necklace! It comes in several colors and would be a beautiful piece had it been of an average size...

This was a really nice gift. I got it for my girlfriend (because, like, everything I buy is for my girlfriend, because I love that girl so damn much) for Valentine's Day. Y'know, cos it's got the hearts and such? And hearts are typically associated with Valentine's Day... You get the idea. Anyways, it was really nice. I'd love to give it five stars, but I figured I'd dock it a point because A) it came with no gift box (though the drawstring bag was kinda neat. Looked slightly cheapish, but was not the worst thing ever.), and B) the Austrian crystal heart (the red one) looked like candy from the 90's, and it made me want candy that I don't have access to, so screw you, candy heart thing! And, lastly, C) The gold looked much nicer and more gold-like online than in person. When I got it, it looked a tad too yellow and a bit too not-like-real-gold. However, I still gave it to my girlfriend, and she loved it. Soooooooooo... Ya. Good buy, for the money. Could always be better. But it was a good buy, I liked it, and my girlfriend was very happy with it. Also, I'm not a huge Harry Potter fan, but my girlfriend made me take a "Which House Would You Be Sorted Into" quiz on buzzfeed, and we both got Slytherin. So there's the explanation for the title. Snakes, bro. Just... snakes.

This necklace looks amazing. I got it for my girlfriend for our 1st anniversary. She wore it everyday until the chain broke due to her bookbag pulling on it. The first necklace is lost forever. I just bought another chain; a least she didn't lose the necklace this time. BEWARE of the chain on this necklace, I recommend replacing it unless it isn't going to be worn that often.

It was my first Mothers day since getting married so I wanted to get my mother-in-law something really special. I had gone online thinking of ordering flowers and chocolates, but it just seemed so predictable as a gift, so I went on Amazon to see what I could find.Firstly, the thing the caught my attention to this necklace was how delicate and pretty it looked. Straight away I decided this would be my very first mothers day gift for my Mom-in-Law. The price was just unbelievable, and I was even more surprised that the necklace was real diamond and amethyst.I read the reviews, and there were a few comments on how small the necklance was, but that was actually what drew me more to purchasing it. I wanted something small, pretty, and a special keep-sake.I had it delivered straight to my Mom and paid a couple dollars more to have it gift wrapped. I was impressed with how fast the order was shipped out, and was delivered right before mothers day.I gave the product full marks based on how happy my Mom was when she opened it up. And thats all that mattered to me.
