Easy to read and understand
I have been dealing with uterine fibroids for a few years now, and recently they have grown even larger. In an attempt to better understand what they are, why we get them, and what can I do naturally to treat them or at least slow down their growth, I looked for a book that could help me on many levels, from the hormonal perspective, as well as diet and exercise. COme to find out that many of the foods I was eating helps make these things grow! The book gives a lot of good information, and is a large book, and is easy to read and put down and go back to. It offers lists of foods that help and lists of foods to AVOID. It provides recipes and also exercises to assist with discomfort from fibroids. In my personal situation, I am seeking further medical treatment to eliminate mine..but still needed the book and information to make better choices.

Lots of information
There is a wealth of information in this book and it's a slow read if you want to "digest" it, as I do.

Clear, concise advice for curing fibroids naturally
Clear, concise advice with recipe ideas (one of the main reasons I bought this book) and some exercises thrown in. Exercises look like yoga postures to help with stretching and improving circulation in the pelvic area. Looking forward to following advice from this book as it complements the herbs and the program I'm following from a different practitioner. With the dietary advice, emphasis is placed on following more of a plant-based diet and a great emphasis on taking flaxseed (either ground or in oil form or both) as I didn't know that the omega 3 oil that flax is rich in, helps to increase the progesterone levels which are quite often low in women dealing with fibroids (causing the oestrogen dominance that occurs). The omega 3 fats in flax act as anti-inflammatory helping to reduce pain and discomfort as well as to shrink the fibroids. The book was written in positive response to Dr Lark's patients who were cured (or at least helped enormously) of their symptoms from following the same advice. It's a much larger book than I realised and well worth the price I paid. There are notes sections at the back for your own notes. There's a table which you can photocopy to keep as a log of progress whilst

Useful...
A useful, easy to read book which has a symptom guide and diet and exercise ideas- I have found it very useful and practical. It is an exact copy of 'The Fibroid Tumor Cure By Susan Richards M.D' but a little cheaper so I would recommend you purchase this copy.
