It's everything just as described. I work in a meat factory, where things tend to get 'messy' all day, everyday. This does the job right! It doesn't feel extra creamy or slimy. More like a "Vaseline" if I had to compare it to something. It's water resistant, but will wash off eventually or with a good warm scrub. Doesn't seem to irritate more sensitive areas of skin, cuts, cracks, or wounds. Doesn't really have a scent to it, which is nice. Definitely worth the purchase...again, and again! Buy it & try it! You won't be disappointed; unless you have some sort of unrealistic expectation of it, but anyhow. It's a "protective" cream...not a magical healing potion...lol.

Other than price, this is the best hand lotion I've used and I've tried a lot. Smooth, not greasy, quick to "dry". Very helpful healing rough skin.

Thick, rich cream that vanishes almost instantly into hands. Not a bit greasy---leave skin feeling silky smooth and soft. Its sort of amazing. I'm not sure how long-lasting the chemical barrier aspect of this cream will be---it seems to fade more quickly than liquid gloves, which I also like to use. But at the beginning and end of the day, this stuff will help keep your hands soft and crack-free. I think that its pricey.

One of the few beauty care products you can buy on Amazon that comes SEALED. I haven’t found another hand cream on Amazon that arrived sealed. This is the only beauty care product I can buy with confidence from Amazon. It works. I have to use hand moisturizer a lot in the winter and this stuff dries quickly. Most hand repair creams take forever and I have to wait at least 10 minutes before I can drive, or use tools. I can apply Workman’s Friend and start driving within 1 minute without my hands slipping off the steering wheel.

Great stuff, doesn't leave hands feeling greasy, or leave residue behind on objects. I'm so glad someone suggested this to me. My biggest issue is that I forget to use it for various tasks, like a ton of painting done this weekend.

The stuff rubs in well and doesn’t leave any signs that it is on your hands. So it is not slippery or sticky. But it does not appear to relieve any skin dryness. Not that I noticed it claiming to. I am not sure what it protects from but it is a good to know that it is there protecting my hands. It does appear to wash off easily. Probably not a product that I will purchase again since it is a product I cannot feel or see any benefit from.

Got this to protect hands from fluids (brake fluid, oils, etc), and it’s incredible! It prevents dust, dirt, and all sorts of other nasties from sticking to the skin. My husband is bothered by welts and bumps caused by allergies and his sensitive skin, but this cream prevents all those problems. It washes off like a dream, leaving hands clean and soft ... and it takes all those nasties with it! Highly recommended for mechanics and anyone else who works with their hands, especially around chemicals that could cause skin irritation. Will definitely buy this again.

I was skeptical about this product, but after using it for a few days of working in the garden, I just love it!!! I wish I had found this cream years ago.

The advertised bottles are 3.38fl oz and the product is priced accordingly. I ordered two and received two 2.2fl oz bottles instead. 35% less product than I paid for and ordered. Blatant false advertising. The product (Workman’s Friend Superior Barrier Cream) itself has worked well for me in the past, although I’ll be returning these bottles of it.
