When this unit turns on, it says "Power On... bluetooth mount... pairing successfully...." and it is SO LOUD and in two different robot voices. You can't change the volume on this voice, and it seems like it's on the max volume regardless of what volume you were last playing audio at. It's VERY irritating. It also doesn't play well with my podcast app (Podcast Addict), it will cut out a few seconds of talking every couple of minutes. It plays music from Spotify without doing this, so I suspect it's something to do with the app. It's an ok purchase, though if you go for it you'll want to test it with ALL the apps you use frequently before the return window is up. I didn't figure out the podcast issue until it was too late. It holds a charge pretty well and is stylish, so if you don't mind it screaming at you every time you turn it on or off, it's adequate. It survived ten days at Burning Man (which is very rough on electronics), so I gave it an extra star.

I put it right next to the window and the red light just starts to flash, which tells me that the it is charging. Also, the light has multiple colors that switches every other seconds automatically. The quality of the speaker is great for its price as well. Love it!

Camping is really great. I like it. It has two small speakers that can play music from the phone through the Bluetooth interface and can be easily recharged via solar energy or USB. It also has several color lighting options. In the tent I can also enjoy its music while reading through its lights.

Very nice
