i used it to practice picking and while it i couldnt rake it i was able to single pin pick it in a matter of seconds. the body and shackle seem sturdy and the mechanism is smooth. good lock for the price

loved the lock when got it but it did not last and started having problems. know there is no information on amazon to contact seller of the lock. not happy.

Only had em on our gates for a month or 2 now but they seem to be more than adequate. We have them on 8 gates on our brahma cattle ranch, and the ornery bulls can't break the locks. Or I might want to say "haven't yet". Ha. But seriously, so far has been great and seems tough. Maybe I'll review again at a later date for to update anyone who cares. Thanks y'all. Enjoy.

The lock and key rusted. It should not have done that at this price. I have had much cheaper locks that did not rust.

This is the Fort Knox of locks. Extremely study. I haven't tried to break into it but I can't imagine that anything short of an acetylene cutter would cut the steel. Pretty sure that bolt cutters wouldn't break it. But its big and you need to be careful that you can access the lock before you clamp it shut.
