Casual Home Seat Pad Folding Storage Ottoman. Micro Suede Cover, Pink

I purchased this for my walk-in closet, to sit on to put on/off shoes and socks. It's easy to assemble, functional as written and nice to have the handles on it to move around as needed. The color I ordered, Olive, was true to its color description.I do need a step stool occasionally, to reach the higher shelves in my closet, and this fit for that dual purpose. Although I feel fairly stable stepping on this for the higher reach, I would not trust it for anyone heavier than 150#, as it may cave the center of the lid. I recommend stepping on it's center lightly, then placing both feet nearer the edges, not dead center.For the price of this item, it is a good product.

The first thing I liked about this item was that the box it came in had some weight to it. To me that meant I was not holding some light weight, flimsy piece of junk which I feared this Ottoman might have been. But don't get me wrong this ottoman does not weigh a ton either and is very easy to move around. The next and most important thing I liked was that I had assembled (all you have to do is unfold it) in about thirty seconds. Now before I go any further I want to mention the plastic bag the pieces are contained in. "DO NOT TEAR IT OPEN" if you open it carefully pealing open the wide band at the base of the bag it can be used to cover the top portion of the ottoman. The top cushion fits nicely inside the bag and will serve to keep it clean at least for awhile. So take your time opening it and you'll see what I mean. If you chose not to use the plastic bag as a cushion cover please remember to cut the bag up into several pieces for safety reasons As for the ottoman itself I think it's well made, stronger than expected and it looks great. I think it would look good wherever you placed it. I intend on using the storage space for two small throws I use during the winter while watching television. The dimensions are as stated, fifteen inches all around top to bottom. I believe it was stated that this ottoman could hold a weight around 330 pounds, er, um, I'm not so sure about that even though I have no way of proving it would not. I am slightly under 200 pounds, it held up when I sat on it but I still don't intend on using it as a seat. I think over time it just would not be a good thing to do. However for the purpose of being used as a good looking and functional ottoman you can't go wrong. I might even try turning the top cushion over at times and using it as a small snack table as it's meant to be as well. One last thing is that as times passes I won't be faced with picking up pieces of sponge and straw as I just did when my older ottoman finally exploded at the seams. When those stuffed ottomans decide it's time to go they cause a mess. My new one is going to last a long time because really there is nothing that that I can see that can really go wrong with it.

It was a little bigger than expected, but I'm glad that it is. It fits perfectly with my large chair and is the perfect height. The microsuede finish matches my recliner perfectly. It's lightweight and easy to move and the handles make that very convenient. It took seconds to "assemble" and just as quickly folds down into 3" when not in use. I find sitting on it feels very solid and safe. The only drawback I've found is that the top does not have enough padding to be comfortable for your feet. I put a blanket on top of it for the additional padding I want. Otherwise, this is perfect and just what I wanted.

I have several of these. Used them mostly for storage in front of windows to make casual extra seating. They are strong, easy to move about and great when you move house often. In this home there is no room near windows so they have been stored (love the folding!) under furniture. I had the thought of using one to make a kitty hide-away and cut a hole on one side, left the material longer on the outside, folded it over inside and used double sided carpet tape to make it neat (and hide my rough cutting job). Now it's a foot stool and a kitty space. It took me several days of work to cut the hole using a razor knife but I'm disabled and not very strong and someone else might do it all in an hour. I removed the center piece to allow for our big Maine Coons to fit - therefore I won't allow folks to sit on it; maybe a kid under 60 lbs but no larger because the center piece was supportive. Anyway, if you find you don't need it for storage anymore here's something you can do with it.

Based on other other reviewer's comments, I expected to be able to fit more inside this box. It's attractive and easy to put together but too small for blankets/comforters. I also don't like the fact that the center divider is not removable. A removable divider would make this product more spacious and versatile. I probably could have fit at least one comforter if the divider wasn't there. When I read that it could be used as an ottoman, I assumed it would be larger. I'm not sure if a box this narrow would work well as an ottoman. It's also kind of flimsy so it probably wouldn't survive long if used as additional seating.

Lovely chocolate brown color and faux suede material. Very easy to fold and unfold. when folded,makes a nice seat cushion for a wooden bench in my small living room or as a pad for my lap when Iam using my lap-top. When unfolded, it serves well as an ottoman for my feet when I am sitting on the sofa (with a small cushion on top it is perfect, since it is a bit low on its own). I think it would also besturdy enough for small children to sit on if you needed extra seating.
