This worked out great! But for other reasons...
I really needed a riser for a 40" TV. I couldn't find anything that provided the correct rise I needed. When I found this laptop/monitor stand had the height I wanted I figure that I could fine nice furniture grade board to bolt to the stand legs. I bought a nice piece of Poplar at Lowe's, sanded to smooth it out and put a couple of coats of oil on it. Drilled the holes, mounted the legs with brass screws. It worked out perfectly as the stand height was higher than the other options I found. Perfect to set on a dresser in a bedroom.

Great Looking Monitor Stand
I was looking for a nice looking, but budget friendly monitor stand to help with neck/upper back strain from my monitor being too low on my new desk. Every monitor stand I found was either really ugly or cheap looking, had some not so great reviews, or cost a ridiculous amount. After some Amazon deep diving, desperately trying to find a good stand, I finally found this one. Normally I'm a little unsure about buying stuff that has very few reviews (even if they're positive), but this one fit exactly what I was looking for, and it was less than $20, so I had to get it. I'm so glad I did.The stand was super easy to put together and it comes with everything you need to assemble it. The only issue that came up was one of the adhesive rubber pads was missing the protective backing and was stuck to another pad, but it didn't affect anything at all. It was still plenty sticky enough to attach to the leg and hasn't budged. The legs are a very nice, sturdy metal. The wood part is particle board (I believe), but it has a very nice looking, thick laminate coating, which makes it easy to clean. It holds my 21" monitor just fine, no bowing or anything. It's the perfect height for what I need. It looks and feels way more expensive than it actually is, which is a bonus for me.I definitely recommend this monitor stand if you're in need of a budget-friendly stand, but don't want to compromise style for function (this one has both style AND function). Very pleased with this item.

Great Quality, would order again
This is a fantastic little piece that I am using for my turntable. I have space underneath it to put my notebook on my small table as it lifts my record player up so I'm not tempted to set things on it's lid. I can put things underneath. Great table space-saver; and it was easy to put together, too!

Lifetime behind a computer - Figured I should Start being Smart
I started getting Carpal Tunnel/shoulder issues and I've been in an office setting for most of my life. Figured I should start being ergonomically conscious to help slow down the pain. It was Super Simple to put together and I love the look of the metal legs versus the cheap wood looking ones.

This is a great stand for the money, I was shocked for as cheap as it is. It is cheaply made but its still sturdy and reliable!

Such a great Amazon find! It looks really nice unlike many of the ugly plastic and/or metal stands. I bought one for work and had to buy two more for home.
