Master Electrician 09345ME 15-Feet Remote Control Cord, White

I have 2 Wind Tunnel fans, the one in the living room has a remote, the other doesn't.So I ordered this, and received it today, and tried it out first thing on the other fan., Positioned the fan toward my bed, turned it on low, then plugged it in the back of the cord, which, of course, then plugged into the outlet.Works like a charm!

This remote extension cord was DOA, dead-on-arrival, did not work, broken, piece of junk. However, since it took me more than thirty days to get around to opening up the package and using it as part of my network setup (wanted to use it to turn my router on/off at night), I am now stuck with a $10 piece of plastic. THIS IS A LONG CORD FOR YOU TO USE A REMOTE ON AN ITEM BUT IT DOESN'T GIVE YOU MORE CORD FOR THE PLUG. IT ONLY HAS ONE END WITH PLUG AND THE OTHER END WITH REMOTE SWITCH

This makes turning on and off some year long Christmas lights Very Easy. I just wish they had In Line ones where the switch was in the middle of the cord instead of on the end. The cord is Very Long and usually I have to hide part of it somewhere as I don't quite need the full length. It works very well however, and makes life easier than going under the table and plugging my lights in and out when I want to use them and my plant lights as well! Very handy!

Perfect for turning a light on and off from on top of a bunk bed. Arrived quickly, good quality, and worked perfectly.

My new apartment came with christmas lights strung up around the back yard/patio that were turned on by plugging them into an outlet inside, which happens to be under where I placed my desk. I got this remote switch so wouldn't have to crawl under my desk to turn them on and off. It accomplishes this perfectly. I used a  Command Small Refill Strip  to mount the switch by the back door. I have noticed an occasional short delay between flipping the switch and the lights going on or off, but I'm not sure if this is from the switch or the lights (I couldn't see the lights from under the desk, so I don't know if that was always there), and it doesn't matter for my use.

Simple product that does a good job. We used it for the Christmas tree but would be handy for a hard to reach lamp

It makes it easy to turn on and off lights when you have problems with your hands.
