Great price for OCCASIONALuse!
It works and has a decent field of vision. I bought it to use under my truck where my regular helmets don't quite fit. In non-dimmed mode, it's still hard to see without secondary lighting under a vehicle. Since I didn't have a light set up, I can't fairly rate non-dimmed visibility. I like that it flips down instead of up, nice when working in a confined area.update- don't use this for overhead welding!! If you do your job of protecting your head around the helmet, it will protect you, a little; but- it will melt. I don't even want to imagine what a big ball off the tip of a flicked 7018 rod would do to it.Still, it got the job done, never intended to use it as a replacement for a full helmet.

For the price... I cannot complain
I purchased this mask because I really need a self darkening mask for welding. This item performes OK but it sometimes sticks in the dark mode and you have to wait a little bit for it to release. But for the price... I cannot complain. I use it EVERYTIME I weld.
