Easy to fit. Solidly made. Good soft closing

Great value for money. It fitted very easily as the instructions were so easy to follow. I had struggled to find one to fit our toilet due to the distance between the fittings but because this could be adjusted to fit a range of widths, it was perfect for what we needed.

love the slow closed lid and seat so less damage to your toilet when you have kids who tend to bang things down

I really don't like posting uncomplimentary reviews, but in this case I have no choice. 1) The toilet seat is advertised on Amazon as being 360mm. wide. In fact, as I discovered when I finally managed to fix it in place, the seat itself without the seat cover is only 340mm. wide, which means that it only just sits on the edge of the toilet bowl. This is annoying, and potentially dangerous, especially for larger users. 2) The rubber "corks" (see fitting instructions,) into which one is meant to screw the fittings, failed dismally to remain in the holes at the back of the toilet bowl, but popped out every time I tried to fit the seat and then close it. The seat hinge (or whatever) is very stiff, and pulled the "corks" out every time I tried to lower the seat into place. 3) In the end, I was forced to fix the seat with roofing bolts and the plastic bottom-fixing wing-nuts from the old seat. I am keeping the old seat in case the new one fails to stay in place, or gives way under constant usage. 4) The instruction leaflet is headed "Installastion Guide" (sic). If the suppliers can't get their basic English spelling right, then what hope does one have of successfully fitting their product? 5) Conclusion: I was very disappointed indeed, but since the seat has finally been fixed, I may as well see how long it lasts. I doubt if the suppliers will want to have it returned, since they won 't be able to re-sell it, and any way, I really can't be bothered to go through all that hassle.

I bought this as a replacement for our Dakota D shaped seat as the soft close was fading on the original seat and sometimes came down with a clunk, after trying the original supplier, who was unable to help supply a replacement ? the bathroom suit is only 6 years old, I purchased this one from Amazon as I knew I could return it if I was not happy but did not need to and was very surprised to find the seat was exactly the same size and quality as the original, I only needed to press the two buttons to unclip the old seat an put the new seat onto the original fittings without needing to change them, soft close works well and seat and cover are very solid, no flexing like cheap seats, it was well worth the money as one from another supplier was going to cost about £20 more with the shipping cost

I replaced a cheap plastic seat and can now sit on the closed lid to brush my teeth! The instructions have text and pictures but the pictures are so small that it's hard to work out how to fit. I was able to leave the old seat fittings and just replace the seat itself. I hadn't realised that the fittings are adjustable. You can move them quite a lot in all directions so the seat you buy doesn't have to be a perfect size match - you simply move it forward or back to fit then tighten the screws with the seat in place. Rather pleased that I did it myself rather than paying someone to do it.
