Large Reflective Orange Dog Leash: 1" Wide, 6ft Length - Made in USA.

I bought this a couple years ago. The leash is 7/8th inch brown nylon webbing with a safety orange ribbon sewn on one side. The reflective material is bonded down the center of the ribbon in a 1/4 inch strip. I bought an 5/8th inch orange nylon webbing leash with a 1/2 inch strip of reflective material bonded directly to it at a local pet store around the same time. The reflective material on the Sassy dog leash is still functional for most of the length, except for the four inches just below the handle loop. The other leash, the reflective material is almost completely worn off, except for just under a foot above the snap hook. I like that the reflective material is lasting so well and I like the solid feel of the leash. I use it on my stronger dog. I wish the nylon webbing was safety orange or safety yellow/green rather than brown. I bought this to enhance how visible the dogs and I are to cars in the evening or at night: brown does not help with that.It should be noted, I do not rely exclusively on this leash for night-time visibility. I also usually wear a reflective safety vest with 16 LED lights (8 in front, 8 in back) with on and flashing settings (MAXSA Innovations 20026). I also have a few shirts, vests, and jackets with reflective stripes, too, that I picked up from various shops or stores, often on clearance, or on sale due to slight imperfections or damage. I sometimes put the dogs in Canine Friendly high visibility reflective vests and make them wear flashing lights on their collars or harnesses (freebies from conventions).

The thickness of the leash is good, and the connections are sturdy. Bummed the respective material is cracking and wearing off already.

Love the bright red and the chrome skulls. The leash is VERY wide and strong - perfect for our crazy dog!

Lasted 4.5 years on my 25 lb dog. Very satisfied. Buying another one now!

With the seasonal darkness, I'm forced to walk my dog when it's dark out. I got this leash to help make the dark walks through town more safe. This leash does the trick. It's strong, durable and easy to clip. The reflective material is only one side of the leash, so if the dog moves just so, or the leash gets twisted, the reflective material is not fully visible. I wish this was reflective on both sides. I also wish this leash came in the 3/4" thickness without having to be as long as 6 ft in length...6 ft is a little too much lead for a medium sized dog in my opinion. I end up having to wrap it around to keep the dog at a better distance from me. Otherwise, I think this product is fantastic and I'm very happy to have it.

Perhaps this is noted in other reviews (and I'll learn to look at them before ordering things), but this leash is only reflective on one side. The orange/reflective side is excellent, and quite effective in low lights. The problem is that the opposite side is a dark brown color that's basically invisible when you would need it most. Since it has the nice hinge that prevents the leash from getting all twisted up when my pup is moving around, the leash also easily spins around to have the dark side facing out. So, I'm not unhappy with it, but I might have considered other options if I'd realized it was only reflective on the one side.

I wouldn't buy it if your looking for something reflective but the pink is really bright and I'm sure that you'll be able to see it from a mile away. I love this leash. It's basically been husky proof. I bought a lupine leash before and she chewed it up almost immediatly. This leash is way stronger than the lupine ones, or so it has been so far. I love it and highly reccommend it. I just bought the matching collar and am waiting for it to arrive at my house. I can't wait!

I bought this leash for my Rottweiler Vladimir. I don’t like leather or chain leashes and his old leash started to tear in some places because my big boy likes to chew on a leash when he is being bad. I bought this leash because I love orange color and I think it looks very manly on my beautiful boy and matches his coloring. The leash is a good bright color, true to what they showed on a picture. It is also reflective on one side, which is good because we walk a lot early mornings or late evenings. Overall it is a good, sturdy leash, even for my powerful Rotti.
