If you really love someone and he/she is important to you... this is the book for you to give him/her.The book is fool of pictures of really great men and woman from all over the world.The pictures are beautifull.Along with the pictures there are the words of wisdom of the person - every person was asked to give his/her prospective of live and how to be succesful in life in terms of happiness, business, motivation and so on - every person adresses other aspect of what is importent in their life. It's like hearing an old wise Chief or Rabi or a Priest but without the religious stuff.the book comes with a link/disc of video shoot of the people from the book telling the same things that are writen in the book - in case you want to hear then instead of reading - good stuff !I think this book is inspiring and uplifting, buy it for your loved ones in times of need and befor/after doing a major leap in life.

This book has beautiful photos and is laid out very well. The clean format, and corresponding writings on wisdom are often inspiring and informative.I highly recommend this as a gift, or for your own collection.

This book is quite large - others have mentioned this - but the photography is wonderful. As an "older" person, this collection of many of my contemporaries is wonderful to have.

I bought this as a gift for my brother and he loved it. I was so happy to find this as he is very difficult to buy for. What initially drew me to this book is Zuckerman's photography, I find his work stunning!

the few utterances I have read so far have failed to entrance me, perhaps it will get better as I continue my journey of enlightment !It on my coffee-table and looking at me,so sometime soon I shall resume my search.

For the type of person who likes to read Rollingstone magazine, this is a great find. Very good interviews and done tastefully. It's a heavy book too, so it's nice on the coffee table.

This book is an incredible collection and DVD recording of famous people sharing the wisdom they have gleaned from a lifetime. The DVD is beautifully shot on a white background and the books photos are close ups showing every line and year. The wisdom is true and honest. This is a large book so perfect for a coffee table. Not a book to rush through, rather to savour.

Stunningly beautiful book. Fantastic production quality, it's all obviously been produced with lots of love and conviction. I really enjoyed reading the interview with the author about the idea behind the book and how it was put together. The photography is stunning - each picture just makes you want to look at every detail on people's faces. Haven't read all the contributions yet but looking forward to it - I keep being distracted by the pictures!One thing to note is that when it arrived it was much bigger than I was expecting - it's about 12" square.

Bought as a present for old friends as an anniversary present. Good coffee table book. Great pictures and a good cross section of personalities.

The photography is unbelievable and the whole book is amazing. i have now bought 3 copies in total for gifts! The book makes a wonderful present. beautiful and a damned good read too!

This is a fantastic 'coffee table' book with entries made from various respected politicians and celebrities - fully recommended to all.
