Pretty Little Liars: Ali's Pretty Little Lies

This was a great read. I love finally knowing all that happened the night Ali died. I really enjoyed how this book humanized their Ali and I actually felt bad for her. You finally understand why she acted the way she did and see that the real Ali was always the evil twin. I also really liked how in the end of this book we see that the real Ali had an accomplice to help cover up her sister's murder, though we do not know who it is. Logic tells you that this person, who has been involved from the beginning, is at least one of the A's in the last few books, if not acting alone. The only problem I have with this book and the idea of the twins switching is fingerprints. Even identical twins have different fingerprints. Why would they not check their fingerprints before returning to the hospital? Especially in a case such as this? Though far-fetched, this book and the entire series are great reads.

Love this book series. Way better than the tv show. A must read. Really enjoyed it.

This Kindle book was worth reading. It was intresting to see how Ali's Clique became Ali's Clique and learning how Ali and Courtney switched places that day Aria, Spencer, Emily and Hanna went to Ali's home to steal the piece of the Rosewood Day flag that Ali had, and the 18 months Courtney-as-Ali was around, leading up ulitmatly to the real Ali killed the real Courtney in their backyard following the end-of-7th grade sleepover. It's not anything steller, but intresting for any PLL fans wondering what was in Ali's head.

What a great sequel! I really don't know who is more crazy, Ali or Courtney? The book kept be indulged for two days. I couldn't help but not put it down. I don't know how Sara Shepard can keep me so interested for so long! She is a genius author who really knows how to make you connect to the characters in her story. As a girl there are always a lot of things in her story to relate too. Now I have to wait for book thirteen in the pretty little liars series! Aaaggghhh Can't wait!

I was looking forward to this book coming out. Couldn't decide whether or not to purchase it as an e-book or the hardcover. I decided to get it as an e-book for my tablet. And I'm really glad that I did I was able to start reading it late at night. Ali's Pretty Little Lies takes you back to the very beginning, and provides you with the back story of twins Alison and Courtney. Courtney basically decides that she has had it with her sister and switches places with Ali, sending the real Alison to the mental institution. Courtney convinces her parents and her brother that she is Alison. Courtney cons 4 girls Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer; and creates a new circle of popular friends. Sara Shepard does an A-mazing job with this book. I recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the books and the series. You will be very pleased to find out what happens.

I've been reading the series since the show premiered. I love the books so much more than the show, and I love this book as well as Pretty Little Secrets. Don't have to read before you read the actual series, if anything you should read in the order that they were published.

Good book for the series

Learning about how Courtney took over Ali's life and created the clique was interesting. i wish she had enough sense not to inspire loyalty through blackmail. I'm surprised as dense as the DiLaurentis are they released Ali killed Courtney.

I highly recommend you finish all 16 of the series books before you read this. I don't recommend you read this before you read at least up to book 8 of the original series as it contains some spoilers. If you've read all the others you will understand and it won't spoil anything.This book is fascinating, exciting and beautiful yet very sad at the same time. The ending was emotional and even a little heartbreaking. It gives you a thorough look into the mind of Ali and her sister Courtney, but the book mainly focuses on Courtney as and when she took over her sister's life up until she dies.You've really got to read it to understand. You won't be disappointed!!

Purchased book under conditions that it was used but in good condition like new. Scribbles all over and marks on every page. Not impressed

Bought for my 17yr old daughter for Xmas, she has all books upto no12 so far and loves them and dvd
