Lovely jacket
Wore it to tesco to buy some scampi and it was great. Nice warm comfortable coat.

Comfortable, warm, waterproof
I bought this jacket because it was a very popular item when I visited Turin recently. I made sure to get the version with two side pockets, which double up as hand warmers. The jacket is warm to wear, and was waterproof when I wore it in heavy rain. With a side zip, it's easy to pull on and off, and fits closely but not too snugly (you could wear a thick sweater underneath with no difficulties). I'd suggest going for the higher rather than the lower size if you are naturally "between sizes". There are a lot of different colours. I chose a bright royal blue colour, but black and navy were probably the most popular in Italy.

Extremely Snug Fit - XL just 24-inches pit to pit
The Napapijri Men's Rainforest Jacket with hand pockets is a top-class piece of apparel. It is both rainproof and very warm and cozy thanks to the interior fleece lining. However, at just 24 inches in width under my armpits, it is the smallest XL sized jacket that I have ever owned. For comparative purposes, I have a similar (but zip front) Timberland XL jacket that is 28-inches from armpit to armpit -> this is bigger than the Napapijri XXL (26 inches) and the same size as their XXXL! Even my super-slim light raincoat measures 25 inches across and that coat has no lining, so is snug when wearing any type of sweater. The Napapijri jacket is thinner overall, plus the material is thicker as it is fleece lined, so it is a tight fit. It does fit me adequately, but only just. Many reviewers have advised potential buyers to order a size up from their usual size. I would agree with this wholeheartedly. When I ordered this jacket, I opted for the largest size available at that time, which was XL or eXtra Large. I also have 2 x sweatshirts from the same brand and they are also tight fitting. A Napapijri XL is similarly sized to an 'L' from most other brands.Overall though, I am very happy with this jacket. It is a bit of a pain taking it on or off over my head, as it tends to raise up my other garments at the same time, because it is so tight fitting. It will take a sweatshirt + t-shirt up with it even when they are tucked into your jeans, and reveal your bare skin to the world. There is a knack to putting this on too. You should open the side zipper, but not all the way, as to do so will make it difficult to close if the zip is fully opened, as it can stick a bit as the two sides are apart and not perfectly parallel. It is better to have the zip partially closed, by around one-tenth, before you put this jacket on, otherwise you will be asking someone else close by to zip it closed for you, because then it will need 2 hands and when wearing it you can only ever have 1 hand that can reach the zip when it is under your armpit. If you are double-jointed and can bend your elbow > 180-degrees you will not have this issue.Okay, so it is tight-fitting and awkward to put on or remove, yet when wearing it, you will feel warm and proud too. This jacket receives a lot of positive comments from other people. Napapijri jackets do get noticed. Finally, the sleeves are not fleece-lined inside, and have a polyurethane or rubber feel that do get wet if you sweat during long-walks or hikes. This has only happened to me once so far, and I had to turn the jacket inside-out and place in the airing cupboard to dry. It is an extremely warm jacket, perfect for really cold days, however, it may be too warm for hill-walking, hiking or rambling over long distances. It is great for the car, going shopping, or short walks to the train station and so on, during the cold winter months. It is deceptively light and has huge pockets, even the hand pockets can take a large smartphone in a leather case, and it disappears into the pocket leaving plenty of room still for more objects or your hands. I personally found the large covered front zip pocket perfect for letters to be posted, before venturing out in the rain to the Post Office. This Napapijri jacket looks and feels like quality, I hope it lasts a long time.

The new version of a classic doesn't disappoint!
This jacket is perfect for winter, marry it with a good quality fleece mid layer and you'll be toastie warm, oh and its waterproof too with taped seams so no leakage. The over head design with side zip actually adds to the weatherproofing however I do find in heavy rain with my hands in the pockets the water runs off the sleeve into the pocket, so be warned.Napapijri have designed the jacket to be "fitted" and being a medium-large usually I went for the large, this was a good choice as I can still get away with a thick jumper or fleece underneath, just be aware it will be snug so size up if unsure.Having owned older versions I will say the zips used to be slightly better quality and the hood toggles were metal, now replaced with plastic, however the construction and materials elsewhere are still top notch and the price is a lot lower than in the past. The jacket has stood up well to a season of premier league outings as well as on the sidelines for my Son's team (rain or shine, but usually rain)10/10 from me and I will be buying another in ten years when this one eventually looks too worn!

Fantastic Jacket
Glad i decided to get myself this Napapijri Jacket,it's comfortable on and the polar fleece lining inside is very warm.I'm 5'11 and 14st 2 with a 41inch chest so i stuck to my usual XL size and it fits me great either with a jumper/hoodie on underneath or not. This is the winter version so the thinner summer jackets may differ in size slighty but i could'nt be sure, overall though i'm very happy with it and got it at an absolute bargain with a saving of over £86.Genuine Napapijri Rainforest Pocket Jacket 100%

A great winter jacket!
This is a stylish ‘pull over’ jacket which arrived well packaged and on the day after purchase, despite selecting the 3-5 day delivery option. I’m usually an XL sizing but having researched this product chose an XXL which was a good move. (I’m a 44” chest sizing) I would recommend choosing a size up from your normal sizing. The jacket has the two ‘hand warmer’ pockets and for me this was a choice well made over the non pocketed Rainforest jacket. I’m told this is a totally waterproof garment but I’ve not yet put it to the test. All in all, very pleased with my purchase and would recommend.

Size is not generous
The colour and quality of this item is very good but the size is a little on the small side, my son is a medium in most tops/coats so ordered medium and with a jumper under doesn't leave much room. Saying that is is a very warm coat so maybe some people would be happy with a thin top underneath. All in all a lovely coat worth the money.

Disappointed with fit and seller from abroad.
I bought this recently for an excellent price on Amazon, however Amazon didn't tell me the seller is based in Italy. This was small fitting so I had to return it which was very expensive. The seller are saying they haven't received this item despite sending it back tracked over a week ago. Im not sure if I will see my £120 again
