Quality of photos could be better.
For the price of this book the illustrations are blurry and the point labels are hard to read. I have another Accupuncture book that I use to look up the points more clearly. It’s a lot of really good information and I’m glad I bought it.

Huge disappointment
In the excerpts I read before purchasing this book, I was led to believe that the book would help me know where to sting myself in order to get the desired health benefits. The charts in the book are unreadable - so I am not able to determine which sting points will influence what part of my body. Also, I expected a $100 book to be edited relatively well - but there are innumerable mistakes in this book. The editing would not (probably) have bothered me so much if I had found the book to be as useful as I had hoped it would be. My third major complaint is that this book is way too 'airy fairy' for me. I see Apitherapy and Acupuncture as very practical - very little of this book is focused on objective information. Most of it is very subjective. I found this book to be a HUGE disappointment. I would return it if I could, because I am unlikely to touch it again. But I had done some underlining in the book before I realized how bad it was. Save yourself $100. You can read basic articles online that will give you more information than this book will give you.

A Must Read for Apitherapist
Well written book for future or practicing persons of bee venom therapy. Easy to understand and a great source for apitherapist to take treatment one step further using the 5 Elements.

Best source to learn apitherapy on acupuncture sites
Dr. Rose has been working as both an apitherapist and acupuncturist for over two decades. She has lectured, taught and treated thousands of people on the techniques she discusses in this book. The book is half filled with positive stories about bee sting therapy and the other half covers how to safely administer bee stings to yourself and even animals. The text goes over what is needed to perform the techniques as well as what to the person receiving the treatments should expect. This is a recommended read for anyone who is interested in apitherapy, bee keeping or acupuncture. Older versions (with less information) were selling used on Amazon for well over $1000.

Very useful therapy
I was first introduced to this book and it's author 13 years ago in the student clinic of my acupuncture college. I found the therapy to be very useful in the clinic. Where acupuncture had not gotten the therapeutic effects that we were looking for, the bee venom did and our patients were amazed.I had the privilege to work with Dr Amber Rose for a couple if years and found her to be one of the most influential instructors in my education.I continue to use some of the principles she taught and have no doubt that you will get a lot out of this book! It is one of a kind!
