JasmineJD39CE-BLK J-Series Acoustic-Electric Guitar, Black

Bought for my son as he wanted a Jasmine make and this seemed to fit the bill, at a good price. He plays at open mic gigs and is a music college. He tells me the Guitar is first class and the built in tuner is a help. nice tone too.

I was very pleased to have purchased this guitar. Fantastic tone, great action and a beautiful finish as well! With an accompanying hard case as well, on many levels this guitar surpasses many other guitars costing much more. Highest possible recommendation!

This is a very nice guitar and case. I was pleasantly surprised how nice the case was. At first I was a bit disappointed with the guitar. The action was high and the tone was dull. I could fit two quarters under the 12th fret. The next night, I set up the guitar by lowering the action and putting on new strings and voila!! The playability became a breeze and the tone and sustain increased measurably. The rosewood does not seem as nice as what is on my Washburn and my Yamaha, but that is just an uneducated case based on appearance. The frets are smooth on the edges and the tuning knobs are satisfactory. The build quality for this price point is outstanding. It feels very solid and I could not find one imperfection in any seam or joint of the guitar. Reviews and satisfaction are all based on expectations. If you are a beginner, this is a fantastic guitar for the price point. An excellent case and quality guitar that will grow with you. If you are an intermediate player, again, this is a good guitar and will satisfy for years. If you are an excellent player then invest in a Takimine, high end Yamaha, Taylor or Seagull. My daughter noticed that I was playing the guitar with a smile on my fact after the "setup". A very good guitar and case for the price. Rated it four rather than five because of needing to replace strings. After the setup, I love it. Before the set up, I was worried. A disclaimer for possible new guitar purchasers.....nearly every guitar needs a set up. Very few come out of the box needing no adjustments. I wanted a decent all black guitar and I got it in this one.
